"Brother..."
"Be quiet. "
"But brother, we have to tell the others!"
Antinanco* turned to glare at his twin brother, Matoskah*, putting a finger to his lips with one hand while the other hand pointed forward. A large boat had been anchored at the shore about an hour ago and finally, people were starting to come off of it. The two boys had discovered them during a hunting trip and were now hiding among the trees down by the beach. Matoskah, being the careful one of the two, was nervous about it. Stories had been told around the fires of these large boats appearing and then months later, an entire tribe would be gone. Whether they were killed or not, Matoskah was not taking chances. His brother on the other hand was bouncing with silent excitement, curious about who these people are and what they wanted. The thought of his own tribe vanishing didn't seem to faze him.
"Antinanco."
"If you are so worried then go back and tell him, but it will just cause unnecessary panic. Let's find out what they want first." Just as he was about to sneak closer, a hand grabbed him and held tight.
"Antinanco, brother, please. Do not go near them." Matoskah pleaded, his eyes wide and filled with fear. The other looked at his brother, to the shore, then back. Sighing softly, Antinanco nodded watching relief go across his brother's face. Holding hands, the two brothers walked away from the shore back to their horses.

"Damn it all!"
"Mon ami, we just got here. You didn't think the energy would show up right away?"
Arthur sat behind a small wooden desk, rubbing his temple as emerald green eyes scanned over a map. The map was old and faded, torn in some places. There were markings and symbols that seemed to represent some sort of language that was not English written all around the map. The only thing that was written in his own language was a phrase near the bottom: 'The Sun and Moon are on the land. Together they hold something more powerful and rare then gold or silver.'
Arthur Kirkland. Europe' best known navy captain and explorer. The man who was capable of anything, who was strong and independent. The man who was about to bash his head into a wall and call quits.
The queen had hired him, offered him a large sum of gold if he translated the rest of the map and found this precious, rare treasure. Arthur accepted eagerly, always one to go out to new places and greedy for more riches. After getting together an exploration team, they set out for the new world. That was almost three months ago since they left. Three whole months out on the ocean which Arthur wouldn't have minded except for the fact that his second in command, a Frenchman named Francis, had annoyed him the entire trip.
Everything he did was wrong according to the Partisan. After one day on the ship, Arthur was ready to throw the other over board. It was sweet bliss to reach the shore and be able to escape the other, but that was short lived. It was late in the night, everyone was exhausted from their voyage and setting up a camp all day long. Arthur had made a tent for him closer to the dense wall of trees, hoping it would be quieter and easier to focus on translating the map. Francis had set up a tent close to him but had been spending most time in the captain's tent.
"Is there a reason you are here, Frog?"
"But of course! It is my job to try and help you with the map!" The Partisan exclaimed like it was common sense.
"Just an hour ago you were complaining how tired you were!" The Brit snapped. "I don't need your help, I can do this on my own."
"You said that the entire trip and have you figured out even one word yet?"
