''[Words on screen: “From the Treaty of Treason: In penance for their uprising, each district shall up a male and female between the ages of 12 and 18 at a public “Reaping.” These Tributes shall be delivered to the custody of The Capitol. And then transferred to a public arena where they will Fight to the Death until a lone victor remains.]

Everyone except the Panem citizens all gasped horrified at the words on the screen. Several people in the room shift their attention to The victors in the room.

Haymitch scoffed at the unwanted attention before downing a shot of tequila.

" They do what now!?" Magnus snapped angerily; cat eyes flaring wildly, the thought of his babygirl being chosen to ' fight' to the death was heartbreaking and Alec's white with fear stricken face wasn't helping.

Mentari winced nervously. " Yeah, future is kinda messed up but it'll get better "

Johanna scoffed.

[ Henceforth and forevermore, this pageant shall be known as The Hunger Games.”]

" Bullshit is what it is! " Cat, Maxwell and Rafael all shouted. Magnus and Alec glare at their boys for their chosen language but couldn't help but agree. It was bullshit.

Seneca Crane (v.o.)
“I think it’s our traditon. It comes out of a '''(Seneca Crane and Caesar Flickerman are sitting on white seats in the auditorium of The Capitol, Caesar is interviewing Seneca.)

[Seneca Crane (v.o.) “painful part of our history.”
Caesar nods along but doesn't look very moved: “Yes, yes.”']

[Seneca': “But it’s been the way we’ve been able to heal. First it was a reminder of the rebellion. It was a price the districts had to pay. But I think it has grown from that. I think it’s uh- something that knits us all together.”']

Growls and scoffs echo around the room as everyone shares their disagreement with the capital citezens on the screen.

Cat tugs Madzie closer to her chest muttering curses in multiple languages. She looked very much like an angry mama bear.

Alec does the same to his newly found daughter as Magnus hugs Rafael and Maxwell.

[The audience applauds.]

[Caesar': “This is your third year as Game maker. What defines your personal signature?']

[Seneca takes a breath in and the scene changes to district 12. “DISTRICT 12” is in the bottom right corner. ]

District 12 members all frown sadly at their old district . They lost thousands of people. People they knew.

[Mentari Everdeen screams herself awake from a nightmare. She looks tried and worn down even with her youthful features.]

Magnus and Alec frowned. Their daughter didn't look healthy on the screen.

Mentari cries “NO! NOO!" [Katniss Everdeen, her sister, soothes her]

['Katniss': “Shh, shhh.” '''(Katniss hugs Mentari and strokes her hair.)''' “It’s okay, it’s okay. You were just dreaming, you were dreaming" .

Mentari tears up at the sight of her older sister and sinks back into her spot next to Alec.

[ mentari breathes heavily] Mentari: “It was me.”'

''Katniss''': I know, I know, but it’s not. It’s your first year, Mentari your name’s only been inthere once. They’re not going to pick you. Shh, try to go to sleep.

'Mentari': “I can’t.

Katniss''': want to come with me to the market than? "

[Mentari nods. Mentari gets up from the bed and announces that she'll get dressed before heading out. She dissapears from the room and comes back out after a few minutes. She's dressed in something causal but it's all pulled together by Katniss Fishtail braiding her hair.]

" So this girl is your older sister? " Simon questions. Mentari nods gently, she didn't really want to talk about her sister right now.

" Yeah, that's her" .
