Yes, I'm 23 and I have never been in a relationship. Not a hook up, not a one night stand, nothing.

You probably wonder how, so I will explain. Since my teen years I been having a massive identity crisis. I didn't knew who I am, what I liked and who I liked. On top of all of that, I also have social anxiety, which prevented me from doing a lot of stuff like meeting new people and experience things. My whole personality was being the young sweet sibling that doesn't know anything about romance, but let me tell you, innocent I was not.

Through the years I got the realization that I'm a lesbian. But since I never been in a relationship I didn't have the need to come out and tell everyone, so I just kept it to myself.

One time when my family and I went to a restaurant it almost slipped my moth. My long nails are a big part of my personality (not very lesbian of me, I know), unfortunately, one of my nails broke. "WOW y/n this is so weird to see you with such a short nail" my brother said "you kind of look gay" my sister joked "well usually the short nails will be in the longer fingers" I joked with her back smirking, I didn't even realize what is said. My siblings were shocked from where on earth I knew this, but ignored it.

For a living I play football, that's how I met Lucy. At first I had the biggest friend crush on her but when I though about dating and kissing her I realized that this crush is more then a friend way. We got really close and ended up together.

The problem was that Lucy is 32 years old, which means that we have a 9 years age gap. Not to mention that she is bigger than both of my siblings.

I didn't know how to tell that to my family. I needed to tell them that I'm in a relationship, with a girl, who is 9 years bigger than me.

"Hey Luce" I said to Lucy as I was entering her apartment
"Hey love" she said and hugged me
"Are you ready to go?" I asked her
"You sure you want to do it?, me meeting your family?" Lucy asked
"Well I'm nervous but I want them to meet the girl that I love" I said as I saw a smirk on Lucy's face
"Love ha?" Lucy said as she held my closer
"Oh shush you, let's go" I said as I peeked her lips quickly and grabbed her hand towards my car
Lucy drove us to my family house where we had a dinner, the drive was short and Lucy could see how nervous I was so she didn't stop holding my hand
"It is going to be okey" Lucy said
"Aren't I'm supposed to calm you down?" I joked, trying to calm myself
"Well yes, but I know you are more nervous then me" Lucy said back joking

We entered the house and went to the living room, all eyes were on us
"So y/n, is this you teammate?" My sister asked
"Well yes" I said, it wasn't a lie
I was so scared about telling them but I just wanted to end with it
"Lucy is my girlfriend, we are dating, she is nine years bigger then me and no I don't see a problem with that and if you do that is your problem" I said out of breath
Everyone looked shocked about my sadden confession
"You go sis" my brother said smiling
