-a (not so) good idea-

"Finally." Minho sighed, when he opened the door and Hyunjin walked into his house. "What took you so long? I thought you'd be here like 20 minutes ago."

Hyunjin rolled his eyes and he flopped down onto the couch, as if it was his own house. "Doesn't matter, I'm here now." He grinned. "Where's Felix?" He looked around, usually Felix always came to greet him, but he was apparently upstairs.

"He's getting ready for a work dinner." Minho sat down next to Hyunjin and the younger just nodded.

"So, you wanna talk about it?" Hyunjin asked, sitting sideways to look at Minho, whose expression dropped at the question. Just seeing Minho with this sad, troubled expression made him pout and he wanted nothing more than to make him smile.

Minho nodded, sighing. He actually didn't want to talk about it, he wanted to forget it, but he knew running away from problems didn't solve them and he was sure Hyunjin would at least try to understand him.

"I tried to tell him yesterday." He started. "But when I wanted to say it, the words just didn't come out." He made sure to whisper so that Felix didn't hear them if he came down the stairs.

"But did you know what you wanted to say?" Hyunjin whispered as well, reaching forward to take Minho's hand in his own and the brunette immediately started playing with his fingers, thankful for the distraction and touch.

"Not really. I thought I would say the right things when I start talking." Minho usually did it like this. He was never someone, who liked to think about his words before saying them and it usually worked. Why was it so hard now?

"Okay, so we already know that the real problem isn't that you're not satisfied, but only that you don't know how to talk to Felix. And that makes you sad?" While Hyunjin said this, Minho lowered his head, but Hyunjin placed a finger under his chin to push it back up. "It's okay." He whispered, when he could see the gloomy look in his eyes.

Even during a moment like this one, filled with negative emotions, Hyunjin's heart fluttered when their gazes locked. He gave up trying to suppress these feelings a long time ago.

"Yes, I don't know what's happening lately, but it's just so hard to talk to Felix. It doesn't really make me sad, I just feel guilty." It was relieving to finally talk about this and he trusted Hyunjin with his deepest emotions. Hyunjin wouldn't judge him, he wouldn't tell his secrets to anyone else and most importantly, he'd be there for him.

And Minho needed that at the moment, it almost felt as if Felix was distancing himself from him, but then again he blamed himself. Maybe he was the problem? He had to be, he was the one who couldn't be open around his partner.

Hyunjin pressed his lips together, unsure what to say. He simply pulled Minho into his arms, knowing that this always worked when he didn't know how to help. And he smiled when Minho relaxed into the hug, tightly wrapping his arms around Hyunjin as well.

Why did Minho suddenly feel so safe in Hyunjin's arms? As if he was keeping him away from everything else in the world. They hadn't hugged like this in a long time and Minho had forgotten how good it felt, how warm Hyunjin was and the way he stroked his back to calm him down. He let himself fully sink against Hyunjin's body, promising himself to hug Hyunjin more often again.

Hyunjin had missed this. The times, where Minho and Felix hadn't been together, they had often cuddled, even before Hyunjin had caught feelings for his best friend. The hug felt like coming home after a long day, just that in reality it had been over two years.
