Pond knew Dunk was popular as a footballer but he couldn't imagine Dunk's rise in popularity as a majorette. Dunk has yet to fully recover but he had started practicing his majorette moves during his free time. Pond would make sure he doesn't overwork himself. There were so many people flocking the area that he practices that screams and cheers could be heard from miles away. In the end, Pond had to act as his bodyguard to lead him out of the training area. Dunk was apologetic, he really didn't know why and where these people came from. Pond had waved his concern off but he couldn't help but rant it to his senior Phi Namtan. He didn't understand where this fanatic behaviour was coming from.
"Oh, you just need to watch him once in action in his full uniform then you'll understand why they are crazy over him." She patted his shoulder and walked off.

It wasn't too long when he had the chance, it was the university sports day. They were officiating the event with the drum major performance.

There was Dunk in his full uniform, twirling and flipping the mace in the air. It was fascinating to Pond on how he was able to do that.

The deafening screams of the crowd were muted when he zoomed in on his best friend as he ended the performance, leaving the field.

He didn't know why his heart was thumping or why his face was flushed. He had never thought it was possible to feel physically attracted to his best friend up until this point. He was blushing like a fanboy. He went to the washroom to wash his face. It was leading to the locker room, he stood back when he heard the altercation between Phi Win and Thor.
"He's no longer in our team so why can't I pursue him?" Thor asked Phi Win.
"He is my cousin, so you back off. He's been through a lot. I know you too well. I don't want him to be another trophy of yours! Phi Off, talk some sense into him" The usual smile was gone from Phi Win's face as he left. Pond couldn't believe his ears. The university playboy wanted to have a go at Dunk. He would really need to watch out for his best friend.

Dunk had cheered for Pond on as he took his place at the court. Pond couldn't help but smile at his best friend's cute behaviour.

He was having a fun time up until he heard his teammate Luke talking with Phi Jimmy in the locker room.
"Did you see that new drum major? He's hot. Wonder if I can score one with him." Phi Jimmy hit his shoulder.
"You better hope Pond didn't hear you, he will carve you out." True to Phi Jimmy words, Pond slammed Luke against the locker.
"You better take your dirty mind elsewhere and leave Dunk alone." Pond said as his anger grew.
"Are you saying that as his faen or best friend? You know you have no control over it as a best friend. There's a line of people trying to score him." Pond was about to punch him when he heard Chimon, his lab partner and their team captain shouting his name. Dunk had just walked in at that point wondering what was taking Pond so long.
"You better watch out." Pond warned Luke as he left with Dunk.
