Dylan Pockets, also known as the Web-Weaver, was on a rooftop, overlooking San Francisco city. His hyper-sense was alerting him to a car chase between the SFPD and some bank robbers. Right next to him was Annabeth Chase, the Styx-Wraith, She had been tracking some drug traffickers who had been causing trouble around town. The two superheroes had been friends for a long time, sharing their secrets and working together to keep the city safe. There was an undeniable attraction Dylan had for her, but he had never acted on it. Tonight, however, something in the air felt different. Tonight he decided to make his move, tonight he would ask her out on a real date. Dylan felt his heart race and his palms grow sweaty. He wanted nothing more than to be close to her, to feel her body against his. He took a deep breath and spoke, retracting his claws."You look beautiful tonight, Annabeth," he said, raising his voice over the traffic below. The moonlight cast a soft glow over her features, making her look even more beautiful.

"Thank you Dylan," she replied. He could smell the heat emanating from her body and it seemed to calm him down a bit. Without thinking, he blurted out, "I love you." As quick as it came out he'd covered his mouth embarrassed. Even though she couldn't see it underneath his mask he blushed. He wished he could just disappear at that moment and crawl in a hole and die. As if knowing what he was thinking Annabeth turned to face him, calmly taking his hand into hers and said, "I love you too.

His heart was pounding in his chest, but he didn't care. He needed this moment with her. Annabeth closed her eyes and sighed softly, her lips parting ever so slightly. She knew exactly what he meant. Slowly, carefully, she took her hands placing them on his face and lifted his mask exposing Dylan's lips. She then leaned forwards and pressed her lips against his. It was a soft, tender kiss at first, but it quickly deepened as they gave in to their desires. Their tongues danced together, their bodies pressed tightly against each other. The world around them seemed to fade away as they lost themselves in the moment.

Time stood still as they kissed, their hands roaming over each other's bodies. Dylan reached around to cup her breast through her costume, feeling her nipple harden beneath his touch. Annabeth moaned softly into his mouth, arching her back. She pulled at the collar of his costume, eager to feel his skin against hers. Finally, they broke apart for air, panting heavily. Their faces were flushed, their lips swollen. "God, I needed that," Dylan gasped, "you have no idea how much."

"Agreed," Annabeth said, tracing a finger along his jawline. "But I'm glad we did it." She leaned in and kissed him again, more passionately this time. Their hands moved faster, undoing each other's costumes until their skin was exposed. As they continued to kiss, their bodies intertwined, their need for each other growing stronger by the second. Dylan slipped his hand between their bodies, finding her wet and ready. He thrust his fingers inside her, feeling her muscles grip him tightly. Annabeth moaned, her hips bucking against his hand.

The sensation of being so close to the edge, so close to release, was exhilarating. She could feel Dylan's erection pressing against her thigh, and she knew he was just as close as she was. With one final, desperate thrust, they both came together, their bodies shuddering with pleasure. They clung to each other, panting and sweaty, their hearts racing. It was a moment of pure connection, of surrender, and they both knew that nothing would ever be the same again. As they caught their breath, they couldn't help but smile at each other, feeling a new sense of closeness that went beyond their friendship, their partnership, and their identities as superheroes. They were in love, and nothing could tear them apart.

As the adrenaline began to fade, they heard the faint sound of sirens approaching. The chase had ended, and the city was safe once again. But for Dylan and Annabeth, their own personal battle was just beginning. As they crawled back down the wall, retracting their claws and preparing to go their separate ways, they knew that from now on, they would be fighting not only for justice, but for each other as well.
