WHEN EVELYN HENDERSON was just 5 years old, she started school at hawkins elementary school. everyone instantly loved her. every boy and every girl and every adult.
but there was one boy in particular who liked everything about her. he thought she was the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen.
so on one special monday, while they were swinging on the swings at the playground, he asked her to be his best friend.
and for the rest of their school years, she was known as his best friend.
and when they got into middle school and they started growing into their personalities and lives, she took her own special liking in him.
and when the world started going to shit, they only had each other.
