Takeshi is positive and trying to move on from his past of being sold and his sister and brother dying. He tries to be happy but actually he's crumbling on the inside. I know right so sad
Akio is sarcastic and he has a more pessimistic attitude. He also has trauma and he's coping with it in his own way of just trying to become numb to his emotions.
