After having an unintended serious talk with your friend, you went out to take a walk and clear your thoughts

During the whole walk, you were silent.

I mean, your new Archon was stuck in the shadows for who knows long, who wouldn't be sad?

You sighed heavily and continued your stroll

In the distance you spotted a familiar figure who had soft cyan hair.

Your face instantly lit up- automatically running up to them.
"HEYY FARUZAN!"

"Huh?"
The said person turned back looking confused

"Oh! It's you Y/N! What brings you here?"
"Uhh nothing actually. Was just doing a lil stroll and saw you, heh"

"O...kay? I was buying some books for our research. Preparing in advance is always important, unlike some careless people."
Faruzan muttered angrily gritting her book

You sweatdropped, instinctively gently laying a hand on her book too.
"Faruzannn?? You promised not to make a fuss about everything~"

She widened her eyes and jolted backwards
"I- I didn't forget that of course. Don't have to point it out..."

Faruzan glanced at you flustered then cleared her throat

"Ehem- anyway, tell me Y/N. Did something happen? You look kinda down"
"Huh wait what?"
You looked at her confused.

How did she know that?

"You always call me Zan but now? I'M NOT SAYING YOU HAVE TO BUT- you always called me that so.. I just took a guess."

"Oh."
You blinked in realization.

You didn't realize you have been calling her by fullname

Guess your Archon did influence you a lot, right?

"I'm sorry and you're kinda right. I guess today isn't my day"
You shrugged without a second thought

It was actually her first time seeing you being gloomy

It was always your job to make her smile and not her's

She then said the first thing that came to her mind.
"..Wanna talk about it?"

That made you both stood in silence.

You were internally panicking!

You didn't want to hurt her feelings, yet you couldn't tell her about the previous situation.

Remembering what Thiba said with a stern look, you were honestly afraid.

You tried to think of at least of a lie, but Faruzan beat you to it.

"Tch, I can literally see you darting your eyes here and there. You don't have to tell me but I am in fact, worried."
She glared at you while crossing her arms with the book on her left hand

That made you surprised.
"Aren't you mad at me?"

"Why would I? I'm not those kind of stupid and whiny people! I, in fact, understand and care about you."
Faruzan puffed out her chest with a frown
