They sent me to the end of the rainbow
There's no riches here
As if I'm standing here with the battalion
My feet planted in the ground
I'm surrounding by silent sobs and screams
Rich soil and rose gardens are laden
With the lost souls who call me their children
This battleground is merely a memory
Yet death is amongst me
They say Heaven is a place on Earth
But Hell is here
And I am looking right at it
The gray sky matches my gray gaze
There are no stars
No diamonds
No flowers
No return
I saw hell in my face
I felt it in my heart
Until death do everyone
Part
They sent me to the end of the rainbow
And there are no riches here
Just dead roses and memorial plaques
The silence of solemn strangers
Are all I know now
We are at the end
Of the rainbow
Anyhow
The battle is won
Yet everyone is gone
There is are no memories
No life
No heart
No human
No return
They say Heaven is a place on Earth
I hope this Hell
Laden with lost souls
Finds their way across
Soon.
