Unexpected Marriage

Chapter 7

Lisa's pov:

We have been waiting outside of the room for so long.

A doctor came out.

"She is out of danger for now. But dew to old age it's not still clear how long she can hold on. I suggest you guys keep her company and make her happy" - doctor said and went away

Everyone sighed in relief.

Everyone visited her one by one.

After a long day, taehyung drove lisa back to her apartment.

She asked him to come inside but he politely rejected it since he would like to stay beside his grandma today to keep her company.

Lisa understood his reasons and didn't force him.

After lisa went back she kept remembering the promise taehyung made to his grandma.

She was worried that if she gets to know it's all act, she will be disappointed and upset.

Taehyung's pov:

After driving lisa back I rushed to the hospital.

"Halmoni" - taehyung called her, his parents were also there

" tae, where is lisa?" - taehyung's grandma

"She has work tomorrow, so sent her back" - taehyung

"what was lisa doing with you" - taehyung's mom asked

"Don't you lisa is taehyung's girlfriend?" - taehyung's grandma

"Since when?" - taehyung's mom asked surprisedly

"not long ago" - taehyung said awkwardly as he doesn't want his grandma to know it's just a act.

"Oh really? That's good to hear. So when do you plan to marry her" - taehyung's mom asked happily

"Mom it's still early, we just started dating" - taehyung tried to explain but his mom just thought it was just a excuse.

Taehyung's mom and dad went back home and taehyung stayed back to take care of his grandma.

At kim mansion

"did you heard that taehyung is dating lisa?" - taehyung's mom

"Isn't it normal for young people to date?" - taehyung's dad

"It's normal but not for our son. It's his first time having a girlfriend. Lisa is very suitable for him. I think he is shy to ask about marriage. As his parents shouldn't we help him a little" - taehyung's mom

"I think it's their personal matter and we shouldn't interfere much" - taehyung's dad

"Given how inconsiderate our son is, it will take forever for him to get married. We won't even see grandchildren then. Listen to me, let's talk with the manobans and see what's their thoughts on this. Mother also wanna see him getting married. It will make her happy too"-taehyung's mom already convinced her husband

"Then should we ask them to come over with lisa?" - taehyung's dad

"Usually girls are shy, we should talk with her parents first and let them ask lisa how she feels about it. Our son already promised mother that he will marry her" - taehyung's mom

Taehyung's dad also agreed and called Lisa's parents over for dinner next day.

Since taehyung's dad and Lisa's dad are friends they didn't thought much and agreed too.

Next day dinner time

"is everything ready? They are almost here" - taehyung's dad asked

"Yes" - taehyung's mom

Lisa's parents arrived and mr. and mrs.kim welcomed them with a warm smile.

Taehyung's mom was praising lisa.

"I think lisa is such a sweet child. Do you know lisa and taehyung is dating" - taehyung's mom

"what really?" - lisa's parents were taken aback as lisa never said anything about it.

"Yes, they even promised mother that they will get married" - taehyung's mom

"Taehyung is such a gentleman. It would be great if things work out for them" - lisa's dad

"We actually wanted to propose for marriage for our child. It would be great if they can take care of each other.lisa can still work as she used to and if she wants she can keep it a secret as long as she wants" - taehyung's mom

"Yes, I'm always worried about lisa being here alone, it would be great. But we can't promise anything without her consent" - lisa's mom said worriedly
