@ChaoticToasters You never said it has to be good
I'm ill. I know it. Am I going to stop playing because of it? Of course not. In a couple days Arsenal have a match against Chelsea and I need to be ready for it. I need to prove to Jonas that even with the more competition in the squad that I have what it takes to start. That and I'm just a retard.
Apparently I'm not good at hiding it either because everyone else knows that I'm ill. That also means a rather short, overprotective Scottish women knows it too which will never end well. It also means that she's going to pull the captain card on me and wont let me do a single second of training, let alone the match at the weekend.
"Y/N!" Kims voice rang out the Arsenal locker room.
"I'm fucked." I mumbled which caused Viv to look at me sympathetically and Beth laugh at my misfortune. "Hey whats up Kimmy?" I asked trying to sound as innocent as I can but more importantly trying to make me sound less rough than what I feel.
"Why didn't you tell me you were sick? I wouldn't have let you come here let alone try train!" She asked with frustration lacing her voice, passing me one of her hoodies and pressing a cold flannel against me and putting a hand to my cheek trying to figure out my temperature, like it would ever work.
"I'm sorry." I mumbled, drooping into her slightly, in response Kim wrapped her arm around me protectively as if not wanting anything else to happen to me.
"You're so going to be the death of me one day, always worrying me." Kim mumbled before kissing my temple as my head is lent against her shoulder. "It's alright love, how about we get you home."
"No... we have training." I mumbled into her.
"Too bad, I've already told Jonas we need to go and if we go home we can cuddle okay." She said in a softer tone than before. This time I didn't even need to think. If Jonas knows it's fine right? I nodded slowly, half asleep against the Scottish women's shoulder.
The Arsenal girls all gave a short goodbye to both me and Kim as I was lead to the car, almost my entire body weight lent into her side, head resting against her as I fought for consciousness.
After a couple minutes of struggle, we eventually got to the car and I was lowered into the passenger seat, my body shivering slightly. You would think that it being the summer I wouldn't be cold yet here I am. "Hey love, are you cold?" Kim asked checking up on me for about the tenth time in five minutes. She once again pressed one of her hands to my forehead to check my temperature and grimaced a little when she seen I broke out into a cold sweat while the other done the seatbelt.
Even though I'm ill Kimmy's always been a goody to shoes when it comes to rules. However I think rules are made to be broken.
I gave a small nod trying to lay down as much as I could in the car before Kim stopped my shuffling about and laid a blanket over me which caused me to give her a week smile.
I ended up falling asleep on the car ride home not matter how hard I fought to stay awake, sleep won. It was a nice sleep too. The last thing I seen was a pigeon or a seagull out a window and the sat nav on the car screen, only to wake up with the soft glow of the sun in the living room of our shared flat.
"Kimmy?" I managed to croak out, still half asleep. I slowly sat up before a huge wave of nausea and dizziness overcame me like a truck which caused me to lay back down and curl up into a ball in a desperate attempt to try ignore the feeling of sick.
"Hey love, you feeling any better?" She asked softly, placing down a small glass of water and some paracetamol. I weakly shook my head before smiling at her and gulping down the water and paracetamol.
"No. I feel like I've been hit by a ten ton truck and then reversed back over." I say chuckling trying to lift the mood from the serious atmosphere as Kimmy began laying down with me.
As soon as Kim lead down I shuffled into her side, digging my head into the side of her neck trying desperately to get comfortable, wrapped up in the captains arms, with her checking up on my temperature every ten or so minutes.
"You're comfy." I murmured into her neck.
"I'm glad you think so." She said as we both let out a small chuckle and ended up falling into a deep slumber not long after, wrapped in each others arms.
