A long-lasting memory ~ Part II

**this chapter will be in the protagonist's pov**

"Music class wasn't even that good.. Aoki bothered me even if she was on the other side of the room, but at least it's over."

I walked to history class but bumped into someone in the way..

He was tall, skinny and familiar in a sort of way, He seemed to be going the same history class, and he smelled so damn fine.

I was planning to find a seat next to Aeri so we could discuss a few things, but she was sitting next to Aoki and there wasn't a spot nearby, so I decided to sit somewhere in the back.. but I got a whiff of something familiar, IT WAS HIM! the guy I bumped in to!

I thought to myself "should I get his number? ehh.."

and then he said something "hey.. would you mind lending me an extra pen? oh sorry, i couldn't catch your name!"

I replied "oh yeah sure, by the way my name's Makoto.. you may know me already!"

he said "oh haha, I'm Ryu In-Ho.. and I haven't heard of you yet haha..."

I said "oh haha, yeah nice getting to know you!"

OMGOMGOMGOMG HE'S SO CUTEEE AAAAAAAA I HAD A CONVERSATION WITH HIM OMG

but I noticed Aeri and.. Aoki! were whispering about something, I was trying to listen but they were too far off. All I could hear was "Makoto" "Ryu In-Ho" Audacity" "Listen" and "Bitch"....

oh.. i forgot, Aeri had warned me about him, didn't she? i should probably explain all of this or she'll get mad at me.. but he's kinda fine yk hmm, but then suddenly the teacher heard something, it was the fire alarm! and it started in Home Ec class.. which was right beside us; instead of walking in a civilized line, we were told to run. That's what we did, right? nope the class ran for the main gate , Aeri and Aoki secretly got out through the nearest fire exit, I couldn't sneak out because the teacher has us intact, but then Ryu told me to follow him!.. which I did... out of PURE friendliness. I mean i wanted to get to know the guy, surprisingly we escaped the teacher and ḥe told me...

"Makoto, we should take the fire exit on the ground floor, let's head to the stairs, okay?"

I replied with "oh sure"

**A new message from Aeri!~**

Aeri!~

<Yoo, where is everyone?

I was too busy running to text her back, but soon enough we made it to the fire exit and made our exit, we were in a safer area so i took out my phone to text Aeri.. Ryu said

"Why are you taking your phone out?"

i said "I'm just gonna text Aeri"

He replied "Oh! Tell her I said hi"

Makoto~

Idk, I'm with Ryu rn at the ground floor fire exit, you?>

<Ryu?? As in Ryu-In-Ho?? omg good luckk!!

I closed my phone after reading those messages, and my phone was exploding with Aeri's text messages, Ryu questioned

"Who's texting you? Aeri?"

"Yeah, It's Aeri. She wanted to see us at the football ground, Wanna go?"

"Oh sure! I'd love to see Aeri!"

Something feels off, but eh... What am I gonna do about it?

We started walking to the the football ground while he asked me questions about Aeri and Aoki, i could only answer with

"I'm not sure"

"I just met her"

"No, I do not remember her favourite colour"

I wanted to dodge every question till he asked about me.. but that didn't happen, did it? I feel desperate...

We reached the football ground Aoki was having a coffee and was sitting next to Aeri, and Aeri was laughing, on her phone and joking around with Aoki. From what I see, Ryu looked lovestruck.. I couldn't help but feel a bit jealous, Aeri isn't even that alluring... Why does he look like he's loved her for a millennia, Like he could wait for her.. no matter how long it would take, Like staring at the moonlight or the sunset... She's a sight for sore eyes for him isn't she? I can see it from a mile away... I couldn't help but to feel jealous.
