There was a time,
I wish I could have loved them more,
Holding them close enough,
Though it might tear them apart.
In those moment,
I wish I could have done better for them,
Loving them as much as they want,
Without questioning how absurd they might seem.
In fleeting breath of time,
I wish I could give them more,
I dare not let any tears slip away,
As every droplet might carve a sorrow onto my heart.
I yearn to love them beyond measure,
More than everything,
More than myself,
I would sacrifice everything for them,
Only for them to linger a little bit longer.
