In the twilight's hush, where shadows dwell,
A weary soul succumbs to its desolate spell,
No will to fight, no fire to ignite,
Just the weight of defeat in the silent night.
No victory song, no triumphant cry,
Just the haunting refrain of a silent sigh,
For the battle's lost, the war is done,
But the journey's end feels like it's never begun.
Unable to die, yet unable to live,
Caught in the midst of what fate may give,
A prisoner of time, in a world unkind,
Where even the broken seek solace to find.
So rest now, weary soul, in this twilight's embrace,
Find peace in the stillness, in this sacred space,
For in the quiet surrender, there's a truth to find,
That even in defeat, a spark may yet ignite.
