Ike's POV
We head to the park Tricia and Karen run to the swings and start talking with each other.
Firkle sits down at the nearest bench and pulls out his book to draw.
"You really like drawing, don't you?" I say sitting next to him looking at his drawing.
"Yeah, and?" He responds back with a slightly offended sound in his voice.
"No reason. I just like the way you draw, it's cute."
He looks away.
"Whatever."
Was that to much?..
"Alright let's go." Tricia says running towards us with Karen.
"We just got here-"
"The icecream shop is gonna close soon, come on!"
We head to the ice cream shop and order some ice cream.
My favorite is chocolate chip.
"I love mint!" Karen says holding her cone.
"Mint isn't really that great.." Tricia looks at the ice cream slightly disgusted.
Karen pouts.
"Sorry." Tricia Pats Karens head.
I turn to Firkle who had a cup of ice cream on the table.
"You don't like cones?"
"Too messy."
"What flavor is that?"
"Black raspberry."
He likes black raspberry?
A few hours later we go back to Tricia's house and we're still not tired yet.
"I'm bored again." Tricia says throwing her shoes across the room and falls on her bed. "What should we do?
"How about a game?" Karen suggested.
"Ooh Yes! But what game.." Tricia jumped up.

"Truth or dare?"
"Yes!"
We sit down on the floor and start playing a few rounds of truth or dare.
"Hmm.. Ike truth or dare" Tricia grinning.
"Uhh, dare?"
Tricia turns to Karen and whispers in her ear, Karen looked a bit disgusted but nodded her head.
"I dare you to kiss Karen." Tricia says grinning but her expression looked jealous.
I sit in place.
"Come on its a dare." Tricia crossed her arms.
Karen walked up to me and sat down.
I kissed the side of her face.
Gross.
She goes back to her spot and continue the game.
While Karen dares Tricia something while giggling I glance at Firkle he looked.. Mad? He had his normal expression, but it looked like he was mad at the same time.
I was confused.
...
Few hours have passed. Firkle fell asleep and we decides to pull an all nighter. It was Saturday anyways. We all agreed to stay at Tricias house until Monday.
While Firkle was peacefully asleep on Tricia's bed, I stayed next to him watching him sleep.. Wait. What am I doing? I have to stop staring at him.
I look away and turn to Karen and Tricia who was giggling a lot, it got me wondering.. Why did Tricia dare me that? At least I didn't have to kiss her on the lips..
"Hey guys?" I finally spoke out.
"Yeah?" They both turned around.
"Why did you dare me to do that?" I tilt my head confused and slightly disgusted.
"What dare?" Tricia asked.
"I think THAT dare.." Karen answers.
"Ohh! We had a little plan." Tricia grinned.
"Ok firstly."
"What plan?"
"And secondly."
"Why?"
"Come over here."
I sit on the floor with them across the room. Probably so Firkle won't hear, but he's asleep anyway.
"So.. You know how you always talk about Firkle."
"Yeah?"
"Well we decided why not make him jealous to get you guys closer!" Karen crosses her legs saying happily.
"How.. Would that make us get closer? And plus he doesn't even like me so it wouldn't even work."
"You never know."
I shrug. What could go wrong?
...
It hits Monday and we all meet at the bus stop.
Karen and Tricia talk and I see Firkle walking by. He was really distant.
The bus arrived and we all went to our usaul seats.
Expect Firkle.
He went all the way to the back of the bus, strange.
I look at the window until a girl walked towards me.
"Hey, is this seat taken?"
"Uh, no."
She sits next to me and starts talking to me.
"I'm Lola, what about you?"
"I'm Ike, Are you new?"
"Yeah I'm new here, nice to meet you!"
She seems nice.
"Nice to meet you too."
We arrive at the school Karen, Tricia, and I walk to our lockers and They both start to gossip about things.
I couldn't stop thinking about Firkle. I know the plan was to make him Jealous but..
what if it wouldn't work?
What if he hates me now?
What if he starts to distance from me?
What if-
"Ike!" Tricia shouts out.
"Huh?" I snap out of my thoughts.
"Dude why are you so quiet?"
"No reason."
"You can tell us."
"It's just.. I feel like.."
...
"What if the plan doesn't work?"
"I'm 100% it's gonna work."
"I guess."
Lola approaches us.
"Hi ike!" He turns to me smiling
"Oh hey Lola."
"Who's this?" Tricia says crossing her arms looking at Lola.
"Oh hi! I'm Lola nice to meet you."
"Hi Lola! I'm Karen!" Karen says cheerfully.
"Nice to meet you Karen, I have to go. Bye!" She walks away.
...
"I don't like her." Tricia says breaking the silence.
"Why? She seems nice."
"Looks like plans are gonna change real quick." Karen says.
