Sam and Kit had visited the volcano they last saw LilForge attack at. But, it was filled with tourist. So they decided to leave and go to Kit's home. The Arizonan desert. But when they arrived, it was night. It was just day before. How come it was night?
When Sam and Kit got to Kit's home den it was scavenged. Her family was dead. She then felt how LilForge felt when she realized that her parents died. Kit ran off. She'd gone insane. And Sam needed help.
