Amalia
I exited the car and looked at the restaurant, I was in Gangnam. Min-Soo decided to meet up at a Japanese restaurant. The restaurant looked very beautiful and cozy, especially with the plants and lights that complement each other.
Not to mention the traditional style of the restaurant which made me feel a bit underdressed. I shouldn't have trusted those stylists. However, I expected this type of location because I was meeting up with Kang Min-Soo after all.
This was a type of restaurant that had private rooms. The fact that both Min-Soo and I were celebrities only meant that people would most likely recognize us and post about it online. And I knew for sure it wouldn't look good because he had a lot of fans who wouldn't be happy about it.
However, the hate would most definitely be directed towards me, not him. The fact that he chose this specific restaurant was quite thoughtful. He was so considerate.
I closed the car door and began to walk towards the restaurant. Just then, Min-Soo stepped out.
"Hey. You're here," he said as he placed his hand on the back of his neck awkwardly. He was dressed in a black shirt matching with his black pants. On top of that, he was wearing a brown cardigan. He looked elegant and casual at the same time.
I raised my eyebrows and immediately looked down at my outfit and then back at him and smiled. He noticed too and he deviated his gaze cutely. We were wearing matching outfits. Mind you, this was completely unplanned. Seemed like my stylists were right. I laughed at his cuteness.
"Looks like we're matching," I said and he looked at me before nodding softly.
"We should take a picture after this because this is too good," I said as I walked towards him. I noticed that his ears were red, and my smile widened. I just want to put him in my pocket.
"I came out so that I could show you where we're going to sit," he said, and I nodded. "Let's head inside," he added, and I followed him.
We reached the private room on the other side of the restaurant. We removed our shoes and headed inside.
We then sat on opposite sides of the table. He helped me order the food and the waitress left, leaving just the two of us.
"Thank you for coming," he said, and I nodded. "I didn't expect you to come to be honest," he added before laughing awkwardly.
"Why would I not come?" I asked and he smiled.
"I love this place by the way. The location was thoughtful of you."
"Thanks. This is Yeon-Jin's restaurant. He bought it, renovated it, and practically changed everything about some years ago. Now the value has gone up and it's now a luxurious restaurant. We come here often when we want to meet up so that we are hidden from the public eye. It's basically like our second home."
"That's nice. This place is very cozy, it's my first time here and I already feel so comfortable."
I wasn't taken aback at all about what he said because I did my research.
We continued to have small talk until our food arrived. He ordered kimchichigae for both of us as well as some side dishes. The waitress and waiter placed the food on the table before bowing and leaving.
He gestured for me to try the food and I did so after thanking him for the food. The food gave me a warm, fuzzy feeling of comfort and happiness. It was really good.
He smiled at me as I did a little dance, showing how much I loved the food.
"Thanks for inviting me. I'm still really shocked that you're a fan of mine." I said while smiling softly because I couldn't contain myself.
