The blue-laden train compartment seemed to have arrived at a quaint railway station, though the sunlight outside was so bright they couldn't see anything, but the sound of the chirping birds and the spring breeze did wonders to calm their nerves. In the train with them sat Igor, with Fabula and Finis by his side. Finis seemed to bear a satisfied smile on his face, while Fabula seemed to fight back the tears filling her eyes. They were wondering why their assistants were there or how they ended up back in the velvet room, but their thoughts were interrupted when Igor spoke to them.

Nanami and Riou boarded the train to take them to school, the sun was unusually bright that day, obscuring the faces of the students around them, they could hear them talk and giggle, but their words were jumbled up and incomprehensible. Moreover, even as the train moved onto the tracks, even as it passed by the beautiful sight of sunrise over the ocean, they could hear no sound of it moving, it was as if the train was floating onto the tracks. Nanami could see several students clustered in groups, seemingly talking and laughing together, though the light from, the sun was so bright she could barely focus on them, she could only catch a few glimpses of their faces, two of them had somewhat darker complexion than each other, a boy and a girl, who seemed to be bickering with each other. Their friends were by their side, talking about and to them. Seeing that group of friends filled Nanami with nostalgia, she forced her way through the crowd, leaving Riou behind so she could join them.
