" what are you doing here" you blurted out. You couldn't avoid him so the least you could do was talk your way out. Gojo covered his face immediately after seeing you.
His thoughts were a mess, scattered everywhere. You were still so beautiful. Beautiful as the day you left him.
" partying like I always do" Gojo avoided your gaze after trying to maintain his composure
" old habits never change..." you pretend to believe him. Since when did Gojo drink? He didn't like alcohol.
" in that case, I won't drink. Someone's gotta drive you home" you were confident, checking the time. " I'm fine thanks" Gojo tried to avoid any contact with you
" you have people to get home too" you reason, assuming he had a partner, although that seemed highly unlikely
" your right" Gojo contemplated, Megumi would ignore him for sure. " we should both get going then" Gojo decided, his drink was already finished
'...even though I just got here.' You thought, but looking at Gojo's face you knew he needed to get driven home.
" okay then if you insist" you move off your seat. Gojo stumbled to stand up, leading you to support him
" careful" you scold, Gojo nods, his walking sloppy. His mind seemed to be detached from his brain.
" sorry" he murmurs, " we can take your car" you walk outside the building. " it's over there" Gojo slurred, his index finger pointing ahead
" okay" you awkwardly walk with his arm draped over your shoulders.
Luckily the car was close enough. After you shoved Gojo's long limps into the car, you got into the drivers seat. " a new car huh" you adjust the car seat
" I can give it to you" Gojo placed his arm over his eyes. " that won't be necessary " you dismiss, shocked from his words
" I'd give you any thing" Gojo whispered under his breath. You gulp and start the car, pretending not to hear him. Did he mean it?
" where do you live" the car starts its engine. Gojo murmurs his address which surprises you. " you still live at the same place?" you realise
