Chap.6

•ADRIAN'S POV•

Watching the girls race was stressful as it was their first time.

Aaliyah overtook the lead which surprised me.

They were one quater mile away from the finish line.

Aria was second.

I'm happy that Aaliyah is with someone who appreciates her for who she is, who has her back, who loves her like a sister, someone who can help her through tough times.

She looks more happy with Aria than she was with Camila.

These two take care of eachother like their made out glass.

"Eyy who the girl with the Spyder?" Tj asked me.

"Aaliyah." I said.
"My girlfriend." I added.

"Damn she good, she raced before?" He asked.

"Nah it's her first time." I said looking at her making it past the finish line coming in first.

I walked up to her car and gave her the money.

Aria parked right next to her as she came in second.

"I wanna split it with Aria." She said looking at me. ''10k each." She added leaving 10k in my hands.

"You did good." I said kissing her.

"Thanks." She said smiling before giving me a peck.

"You did amazing!'' Aria said hugging Aaliyah.

"Thanm you, you too!" Aaliyah said with a smile om her face.

"I know you aren't going to take the money but I want to split it with you, 10k each." Aaliyah said to Aria.

"I appreciate it but you won fair and square and I'm you know I won't take the money." Aria said.

"Take it." Aaliyah said placing the money in her hand.

"No-Take it." Aaliyah said cutting her off.

After the two of them were done going back and forth we finally got a chance to go somewhere else.

I went up to Tj who was surrounded by people.

"Hey tj." I said walking up to him.

"Hey wassup?" He asked leaving the crowd who so we can talk privately.

"So did you find out why Gio wanted to race?" I asked.

"Yeah, he's after your girl's friend." He said.

"Nah not that, when will he be racing again?" I asked.

"Oh shit i don't know man, but I'll find out." He said.

"Thanks man." I said dabbing him up.

I walked back to the others and got in my car.

"We heading home or?" Nate asked clearly not wanting to go home.

"I need to sleep you guys sorry." Aria said.

"Yeah, see you guys tomorrow." I said greeting them goodnight and driving off.

{Aaliyah's pov}

I walked into the house with Aria following behind me.

The house was unusally quiet.

"Mom?" Aria called out.

No response.

"Ma?" I called out.

Again, no response.

"I don't think they're here." Aria said walking up the stairs.

I checked their rooms to see if they're asleep but they weren't there either.

Aria called her mom to ask where they were.

They were out having fun at a club.

I don't blame them, I mean they're succsessful hard working women.

I respect them for letting lose a little especially my mom.
