Jo Young Shin and Y/n had always shared a special bond since the day they met. They were inseparable, spending every waking moment together, laughing, and creating beautiful memories. However, lately, something had changed. It had been days since they had spent quality time with each other, and Y/n couldn't shake the feeling that Young Shin had grown distant.

Y/n couldn't understand what had caused this sudden shift in their relationship. It was as if Young Shin's attention had been captured by someone else. That someone else turned out to be Aeseol, a quiet and lonely girl in their class. Y/n didn't want to jump to any conclusions, but it seemed like Young Shin was always in Aeseol's company nowadays.

Desperate to grab Young Shin's attention once again, Y/n would constantly try to engage him in conversations. But every time she approached him, Young Shin would provide flimsy excuses just to talk to Aeseol. Each rejection pierced Y/n's heart, leaving her feeling more excluded and confused.

Y/n was leaning againts the locker as she waited for Young shin to come out his class as hers has already ended. After a few minutes the bell rang indicating that it's lunch time. She waited for him as she keep tapping her fingers on her book her eyes glued at the closed door framed as students started coming out. Y/n saw Young Shin step out but didn't notice her presence as he turn the other way before she called for him.

"Jo Young shin!" You yelled getting his attention as he take off his headphones.

"Oh Y/n do you need anything?" He asked waiting for my response.

Strange....

"I was gonna ask if you could go to the cafeteria with me? Y'know eat lunch?"
You asked as you started fiddling your fingers.

"Sorry Y/n i got alot of things to do, maybe another time i promise." He replied putting back his headphone giving me a peck in the cheek before leaving.

As she watched him walk away, her mind was a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions. She couldn't help but question why he had declined her invitation to lunch.

She remembered the way he used to look at her, the way he used to laugh at her jokes, the way he used to enjoy their time together. But now, it all seemed like a distant memory. His eyes didn't sparkle the way they used to when he looked at her. His laughter didn't sound as genuine as before. His attention was always somewhere else.

She couldn't help but wonder if he was avoiding her on purpose. Was he trying to distance himself from her? Was he trying to send her a message? Or was it all just in her head?
