Chapter:2 {That Night}

It had been a few hours later and finally my parents came in my room, well my mom did.

"Riley?" She asked as she walked in.

"Hi mom." I said.

"Riley? What's going on?" She asked me.

"Nothing." I lied.

"Something." She said.

"Fine!" I said getting up from my bed.

I walked over to my door and shut it then walked over to my window and sat down.

"Well?" I said to my mother who was still sitting on my bed.

"Oh wow! This ones deep." She said as she walked over.

"It's about Shawn and Maya." I said.

"What about them?" She said.

"Well..." I said.

I can't tell my mom. She'll tell me to stop being dramatic and tell me to clam down and be happy for Maya!

"Well what?" Asked my mom.

"Never mind." I said.

"Well Riley I know this is important, I mean if it wasn't you wouldn't of brought me over to the window seat!" Said my mom.

"Okay fine! I'm jealous okay? I'm upset about it all okay?! I mean Sabrina and Shawn! She's taking him over and soon enough I'll be a side effect! I don't want to be a side effect!" I said.

"Woah." Said my mom.

"I know." I said.

"Well... This is something you need to talk it out with Shawn! Fix it!" Said my mom standing up.

"But mom!" I said.

"Look, here comes your first step." Said my walking out my bedroom door.

"Hey Riley why did you leave earlier today?" Said Maya sitting next to me.

"Uhh felt sorta sick I guess." I said.

"Oh well guess what! Shawn asked my mom out on a date!" Said Maya.

"He what?!" I said in disbelief.

"I know! But hey I got to go, see you later maybe!" Said Maya crawling out the window.

"Maybe." I said.
