The lady who was once an epitome of celebration was converted into a puppet of fate. Nivritti was in deep thoughts. The thoughts of the dream that kept her awake for the rest of the night. The dream that reminded her of her 22 year old self.

23 years ago... the 22 years old Princess of Aryanagar fell in love with a young minister. The man was the son of the late minister and after his father's death he succeeded him, all new for the world of trading and systems. One day, he was invited by the new Aryavardhan, Rudrasena, to the royal dine and there he caught the eye of the blossoming, youthful Princess of Aryanagar, Nivritti.

The eyes met and the spark of love ignited into the fire of love in no time. The secret meets commenced so did the last few days of their happiness. Few months after their affair started, a certain night came that brought with itself a testimony of fate. That night, Rudrasena walked in the room of his sister to wish her a goodnight, when he saw her in the arms of her beloved.

He was mad, livid and what not. But eventually Rudrasena understood the depth of their love and the two got married. After few months Nivritti broke the news of her carrying a life inside her. People of Aryanagar thought that it was the beginning of a new phase of happiness and nothing was left to be manifested anymore in the terms of better future, little did they know that it was just the silence before the storm.

It was during Nivritti's first trimester when her husband was sent to one of the feudatories in order to suppress a revolt. Before leaving the man held his wife's hand and promised that he would come soon. That was the last time when Nivritti saw her husband, because he allegedly went missing when he was on the way back to Aryanagar after finishing his job. That one painful moment stayed with her. The pain which was fresh in her mind, even after 22 years...

And now, after so many years, she turned restless again. The dream made her regret her entire life decisions, as she woke up and gulped down water from the glass. The dream, still vivid in her mind was about her deceased husband, who was saying that the time came when the universe was on the edge of exposing Veer's origin. That the royalty of the Prince was just a facade, he was anything but an Arya...

The night was reaching its peak, the moon shone at its best and the stars were accompanying him in decorating the sky. The two cousin princes were roaming around the outskirts of a silent forest.
