How much would I need to tell her about Fran to get her off my back? What exactly did she want to know?

"So... Ms. Rimuru. How is Fran doing?"

"She is alright."

She was staring at me with some rather disapproving eyes.

"I would have thought you would bring along Fran since you are her guardian."

"It doesn't mean I would drag Fran everywhere I wanted to go."

"Are you sure she is safe right now?"

"She's tough enough to become an adventurer."

Amanda seemed worried about what Fran might be up to right now. I didn't need to worry much since Fran was perfectly capable of looking after herself. Even if she disobeyed and went to look around Alessa, there wasn't much that could threaten her since I would know whenever something separated me from Fran.

Receive and Provide were pretty useful Sub-Skills but they had an additional function that isn't really noticeable at first glance. It shows me precisely who I happen to have a Soul Connection with. Since Fran and I are connected through my blade body which houses my soul, if something were to ever happen that would separate my blade body from Fran in a way that Fran couldn't get back to it, then it would immediately be noticeable for me since I still had full access towards my Skills even while massive distances away from my blade body. Not to mention Fran was rather powerful and intuitive in many ways. If something were to fight and try to kill her, they would need to try extremely hard and something like that would definitely be easily noticeable by Great Sage and my many detection Skills. Assassination against Fran was somewhat possible but Fran had rather keen observation of her surroundings, she was able to somewhat bypass my Thought Acceleration at times though she still couldn't hit me. The more important thing was who would try to assassinate her and who would even have the Skills to successfully do so?

It was impossible, right?

"Fran is too strong to die easily. If she needs me, I'll be there."

"Are you there for her now?"

"We have our way of talking to each other."

"I see..."

Amanda looked at me a bit carefully.

"I would ask further but it's rude to ask others about their Skills and equipment. We do live in a world of people constantly trying to assassinate and slaughter each other after all."

I never thought I would hear that, but it makes sense why no one tried to pry too much into Fran's powers besides the Guildmaster.

Wait... doesn't that mean he's rude?

"As long as she's safe, I won't bother. Still, are you training Fran well?"

"I'm assuming Nell told you about that right?"

"She did. I was just curiously asking Nell."

"Felt less like curiosity and more threatening Amanda... please think about your intimidation..."

Amanda was certainly intimidating and she had a high level of intimidation as well. She was intimidating with her appearance so she likely had to use some sort of alternative way which included her Skills and that glare to scare others away from her. After all, she was beautiful so she likely had a load of people try to approach her repeatedly for those sorts of charms. I know quite a few did towards Shion but...

Yeah...

Never try to flirt with Shion...

I began to explain a bit about Fran's training regiment to Amanda.
