ok so this AU is confusing so Ace and Ryan have Nick again right so here's this...

"Glasgow can't even save you now." Ace laughed, his dark eyes glinting in the artificial light.

Nick was suddenly alert. Once he had heard Glasgow's name, he was ready. At least, mentally.

"Come on, get up." Ace hissed.

Nick silently stood up and awaited solitary confinement. Ace and Ryan had taken HQ again, and the squad wouldn't be able to get it back for a long time. Ace dragged Nick into the small room. Nick was emotionless as he was handcuffed to a chair which was bolted into the ground in front of a screen.

"You'll watch, you'll only speak when we ask questions, and you won't black out. Got it?" Ace asked.

Nick nodded.

"Great. Now have fun."

Ace slammed the door ostentatiously just to show off his freedom.

The screen stopped showing static and was suddenly in high quality.

Aehlocai has cameras set up. She doesn't access them all the time, but they're helpful!

Nick cringed as he watched his friends going about their daily lives. Alex and Glasie were messing around in the kitchen, as usual. Paul and Strawberry were playing Mario kart. Happy Box was sitting on the kitchen table with cut wires and all of its stickers, given by Glasie, scraped off.

It had all happened last night. After destroying Happy Box, Ace and Ryan had dragged Nick out to their stolen car with a knife to his throat. Glasie had tried to protect him, as usual, but her fire did no damage.

Yep, that's Glasgow, crying herself to sleep, she thinks you're dead!

Glasie was sitting in the corner of the mega couch, her last sheet of stickers for Happy Box in her hands.

And she's wearing your flannel! Isn't that adorable?

Nick didn't say anything.

Answer, McCarthy... NOW!

"Y-Yeah, it is..."

That's exactly what we wanted to hear. You're doing well.

Nick nodded silently and continued staring blankly at the screen.

They don't even miss you. Except for Glasgow. She's lost all hope.

After a few more minutes of time lapsed darkness, a door opened.

Is that Alex, going to cuddle with Glas? In your corner? That's sad.

Nick shrugged.

This is just a tragedy! Don't you miss her? Don't you wish you could go back?

"Yeah. I do."

Don't you wish you had any reminders of her love left? Don't you wish Happy Box was still intact?

"Yeah."

Just imagine that she's never loved you and she's been team Alex the entire time. Is that too much for you?

"N-No.... I-I-I can do this." Nick stammered.

She's never loved you. It's always been how much she cares, and how much she wants to protect you... No love.

"Maybe the video is legitimate, but what you're saying isn't, Ace. I know that she loves me. Or at least, she cares."

That was absolutely adorable, but didn't I say no talking unless it's an answer?

"Y-Yeah, you did. Sorry."

This is making me sad. I want you to go back to her, I really do, but at the same time, I want you to suffer.

Nick nodded. He needed Glasie now more than ever.

Let's keep watching. They're still cuddling. Isn't that adorable?

"Sure, whatever."

She's taking off your flannel. Must be hot or something. She's wearing a crop top. Terrible fashion choices.

"Ace... Y-You might... Be trying to trick me... But... I-It's not... Working..." Nick tried to wait for Ace's response.

That wasn't a question, McCarthy! Two strikes. Next time you say something that isn't an answer, you're here for another day.

Nick sighed, wishing he were anywhere but here.
