"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday... Happy birthday... Happy birthday to you! Yey! You just turned four, my dearest sweetheart."
Mommy's voice started to echo inside my head. I started to cry while looking at her and my siblings.
I don't have any father. I don't even know him. Wala akong kaalam-alam kung sino at anong nangyayari sakanya.
"Blow your candle, Khal." Ate Khylien muttered while taking a video of us using her Fujifilm camera.
Kuya Khyron at Ate Khareen are cheering for me while Kuya Kheran is clapping his hands and still singing the happy birthday song for me.
"Come on, our baby sister. What do you want? Make a wish." Kuya Kheran patted my head while smiling widely at me like the others.
I looked at these people infront me , I will treasure this moment forever.
I closed my eyes and started to whisper my wish in the cold air filling the whole kitchen.
"I wish to have freedom and happy life with my family..."
And with that, I don't know what happened but I woke up.
It's a dream again, another lovely memory of mine that became another dream.
I take a moment to breath heavily. I need time to fix myself. I wanted to say sorry to Mommy for everything I have done but I will not change myself for other people.
As hours passed by, I am walking all alone to the parking lot of our academy. Hindi pa man ako nakakapasok sa loob pero may biglang sumingit na babae sa harapan ko kasama ang mga alipores nitong malalaki ang eye bags kaya putok na putok ang make up.
"Nandito na pala ang emo girl ng taon." Pumalakpak si Amanda at tinignan ako sa nang-aasar na paraan, katulad ng dati.
Hindi ako nagsalita dahil wala ako sa mood makipag-gyera sa babaeng 'yon.
"Hey, Girl! Bumalik ka rito, hindi pa ako tapos magsalita."
Humarap ako sakanya bago siya nginitian. Kumaway muna ako bago nagsalita.
"Hi, Amanda! It's not nice to see you. Lilipat na ako ng school kaya pwede ba, tigilan mo na ako."
Pagkatapos kong sabihin 'yon ay agad akong umalis dahilan para mapansin ko ang pagkawala ng tuwa sa mukha ng babae. Wala na kasi siyang maiinis.
