"she so little" I smiled rubbing her curls I looked up at Jayden and he was just smiling at me which made me laugh
"u wanna hold her" I asked
"man yk im scared" he smiled standing up coming over to the bed
"sit right here" I told him and he sat down on the bed next to me
I placed her in his arms and he just smiled big asf. which made me laugh. he looking at her with nothing but love like its so cute to me
"I ain't hold a baby this lil" he laughed
"better get ya time in cus ik vontae should be coming in any minute" I said
this one wasn't as bad as I thought, she came out so easily. no health problems, breathing is perfect. her daddy helped bathe her.
I could only have person in the room, Ik everybody finna run in here and wanna hold her. idk thought I might make them wait like how I did vontae ion need all dem germs around my baby right. she only a hour old
I grabbed my phone and texted my momma telling her to tell everybody not to come and Dey can see her when we come home tmr.
"ain't no way we gotta daughter" he said still admiring her
"she gone look like you" he said
"we finna have another one soon as dem 6 weeks up" he joked
"stupid asf" I laughed
"I think we should move" he told me
"to a different house" I asked
"nah a different state. yk start fresh" he said and we heard a knock on the door
"hey momma how you doing" the nurse asked coming in
"im doing good. ah lil tired" I said
"I see she's loving dad over there" the nurse smiled and I nodded
"precious lil thing. And born on New Year's Eve ain't that something" the nurse smiled
"mom let me know if u need anything" she said and I nodded
"im ready to bust down some chicken" I said and he side eyed me
he handed me jalani and stood up before pulling his pants up knowing they was gone fall right back where they was
"I gotchu. and I gotchu some gifts and stuff. u gone be good while I run and go get it" he asked and I nodded
"yeah I love you, be safe" I said
"I love ya more" he kissed me
