Coriolanus was 7 years old and he knew that he had lost everything, it started with the death of his mother she had been pregnant with his unborn sister who had been stillborn, the screams of agony from his mother and the sight of all the blood will forever haunt him
Next was the news of his fathers death.
Coriolanus had been out with his older cousin Tigris looking for food and while on the way back snow saw Nero price kneel down next to a dead maids body and hack a leg off with an axe that he had brought with him before taking the leg and carrying it to his home, he asked his cousin why he did that and Tigris told him softly that he did it because he was starving, his cousin was understanding but it was still a disgusting sight
When they had got back home they opened the door to see their grandmama talking with 2 capitol officials hearing them enter grandmama came up to them with a mournful look in her eyes and hesitated a bit before speaking
"Your father is dead Coriolanus " - she told him and he felt his world plummet while his father wasn't there most of the time he was still his father and the reality that he was an orphan began to sink in
His grandmama walked forward and placed a compass in his hands that he knew belonged to his father
"It's up to us to make him proud"
And hearing those words he knew that the entire snow legacy was riding on his shoulders.
Tigris had comforted him last night telling him that he didn't have to take the Heavy weight on his own
But the final blow came when at the end of the war the capitol blew up district 13 and the Snows fortune with it leaving the snows poor as the districts
The districts it was the districts fault that his life was ruined and the worst part was that he would have to attend school and while he was grateful that the academy provided the uniforms he couldn't let anyone find out about the state of the snow family and so he would craft a lie and he would do whatever it took to bring the snow legacy back to the top
Because snow lands on top.
