Yearn for the mines

At the Autobot base things were pretty peaceful. All of them were starting to look through their supplies and see what they could do with them. They also had finally converted the dust they had mined for into energon. As for the kids they were at Beacon still in class. The three bots who were told to watch them had been called in by Atlas who said that this was urgent.

"As you may have known the decepticon's have been robbing trains full of dust for some time now." He started off before he walked over towards a console and activated to show them pictures of those robberies, specifically the aftermaths. "As you all can see they've been doing this for some time and as a result news has gone out that Schnee Dust Company has stopped trading for the time being."

Blaze-Rod then spoke up. "Isn't that a good thing though? I mean with no trains for them to rob then that makes their whole operation harder to keep a float?" The others also thought about this but Atlas shook his head.

"It's not that simple Blaze-Rod. If I know the decepticon's then they'll just look for the company's mining operations and steal dust from there and there's a good chance they'll do something to the workers to keep things a secret."

Meanwhile on the decepticon ship Malcrom was speaking to Dagger, Skates, and Frostbite.

"So you want us to find their mines?" Frostbite asked while the others just stared at them. They too did find it odd that they were being sent to go looking for mines.

"The reason for this is now the organics of this planet are starting to slow down their trading. Trains are no longer being sent out. So we'll have to locate some of their mines. This would grant us a better chance to gather supplies without being noticed by unwanted eyes." Malcrom said.

Skates then looked at her captain before saying. "Hold it! There is no way I'm working in a mine shaft, no thank you." The others looked at her surprised that she spoke like that towards their captain but Malcrom didn't change his face.

"That is why I had Drone work on a special project of mine." He said. "Drone! Show them what you've made."

Drone came stumbling out and almost fell over trying to run into the room. "O-o-okay so like captain say's I've been cooking up something to help out with our operation of energon harvesting and converting." He then opened a tab on his arm and pressed a something on it with his claw. "I bring you our new vehicons!"

Soon walked down a bunch of atlesian knights that walked out of the large doorway. They weren't anything like the ones they saw on Cybertron. They were clearly warrior based and had their black changed to purple. Drone then explained. "So you all know that you've been stealing dust carts and well they had some of these guys locked in there. So yeah basically reprogrammed them to our side and they should be useful to help in combat." Then another group walked in that had a light shade of purple. "These guys are also here to work. So we have our own little army. You'd have to thank yours tru-"

Before he could finish Malcrom slammed his arm on the armrest of his chair and looked over at Drone. He then looked at the three. "Take these vehicons and find a mine. We'll need to prepare the long terms. And with that the three walked outside and transformed, Skates was in bot form helping load the vehicons on Dagger and Frostbite. Soon they told Drone to give them a ground bridge for them to use so they could go to Atlas. If they knew anything then they'd find a mine somewhere up in that cold empire.

They were now in Atlas and on the move. They used their scanners to try and find something.

"Found anything yet?" Skates asked in her vehicle form. Dagger responded. "Not yet. Shouldn't be long though."
