A prayer diary of someone going through a prayer crisis

October 13th, 2023 - Friday

Today, I finished reading the book 'Answers to Prayer' by George Muller. As you can see, it took me a long time. I insisted on reading it nonetheless, without haste. It took almost two months.
In the end, it describes George's death and funeral. He was truly a man of God who sought to live in dependence on God all the time. The interesting thing is how God heard his prayers as described in the book.
Today, I am more discouraged than ever. I was so excited when I started this project. It seems that I had faith that God could finally hear one of my prayers. This week, I thought about ending the fast several times. It seems fruitless. It seems like a stupid thing to do, and mainly, I don't think it will make any difference. But I'll continue.

One thing I didn't mention before is that part of the rent was paid here at home, but even so, I don't consider it an answer to my prayer. I know you may be wondering why. It's hard to explain, but I am fully convinced that it was not an answer to prayer. So, I continue on that same journey without any prayer being answered to this day.

Today, I also finished my Bible reading project. I don't remember writing about it on previous days, but on May 29, 2023, I started a Bible reading project. And today, I finished all the books. It took longer than expected because I wanted to finish in 4 months, but that's okay.
