-How to develop positive thought?

Think like a man of action, act like a man of thought. Man is always born free yet everywhere he finds himself in bondage. He is bound by what his parent's think of him and expect him to do. He is bound by the expectations of society. He is bound by religious thought and philosophy. He is bound by what others think. In short he is bound by everything that matters. We have to free ourselves from bondage. We have to free ourselves from within. We have to evolve as independent thinkers.
If we cannot have independent thoughts we cannot develop our'self into a better one. However, even though being independent, our thought should take into consideration not one but all humans and animals who coexist with us. So let us begin to develop and expand our horizons as independent thinkers.
The points given ahead do not follow any hierarchical order. They are just guidelines for developing positive thought. Positive thought is infinite and it goes on and on.

-Constantly indulge in self-evaluation

We are generally inclined to believe what we are not because it satisfies our ego. People say flattering things about us and we believe them. Generally most of us only think thing's worth believing in if its hard to believe.
But we have to critically evaluate ourselves. We have to know our good as well as our bad qualities. We have to work upon the weak ones and improvise them. We are what we are and we have to strive to be what we want to be. So keep indulging in honest and critical self-evaluation. This self-evaluation will pave the way for you towards positive thinking.
