Jimin was more than enjoying himself, he loved to attend parties, interact with strangers, making friends. It was all an enthralling game to him and most importantly, he liked the food served at these grand parties as anyone who threw them made sure the food tasted the best and ordered from the top-rated restaurants and Jimin loved to try new dishes, drinks, this was a heaven for him.
He was walking in the far hallway away from the man he was supposed to protect as his duty almost slipped from his head which was too preoccupied with the glory of this party, he was observing the decorations sipping at his champagne with a pastry in his other hand as though he was not at a party with hundreds of people surrounding him keeping their eyes on him as his name was joined with someone with a peak of their interest yet his free spirit feels like he was alone at home
However, his journey to Wonderland ends with the hand that dragged him into the dark hallway far from everyone's eyes making the glass of wine drop from his hand. But whoever has pulled him underestimates his fighter instincts that he seems to completely lose in front of the very man he learned them for in the first place. His hands moved in a quick and swift way twisting the hands of the stranger behind his back as Jimin slammed him against the wall with his head pressed against the cold surface
"What the fuck, Jimin?" And with the demonic tone of his voice, the stranger seems like someone he knows very well
"This is how you greet your best friend on their birthday?"
"Yes, if they're a bitch who ignore you after you come to their party they were begging you to attend for years" he twists Felix's arms further making him whine in pain before he let go of him and stepped back letting the other turn around and fix his hair and clothes that were now a mess from his friend's blessing "I wasn't being a bitch, what do you want me to do? greet you and reveal your identity to them?" Felix glared back at Jimin who was folding his hands over his chest to show how mad he is at Felix but at that, his eyes softened so his posture
"I was so excited to attend your party, I thought you would be surprised to see me" Jimin mumbles through his pouty lips melting the other's hearts who stares at him in awe before he pulled him into his embrace "Of course, I was so excited to see you, it was so hard for me to ignore you, I'm sorry if that hurts" Jimin shakes his head, letting Felix know that it doesn't matter, wrapping his arms around his smaller frame, if Jimin was small than Felix was tiny and Jimin always makes sure Felix never forget that fact, they broke the hug after some moments as Felix remembered something important that was twisting his stomach the whole time
"What is going on between you and Taehyung Hyung!? I didn't know you'd make him fall for you in only a few days!" Felix says with excitement making Jimin internally cringe at his words but he hides it from the other's doe eyes
"Nothing!-" he takes a deep breath trying to calm himself down "Nothing's going on" Jimin stated without any hesitation speaking the truth that seemed to be the biggest lie to Felix after what he heard from everyone
"What do you mean nothing's going on? You two enter the party together holding hands, everyone is talking about him and his beautiful consort" Felix scoffs thinking his friend is hiding his dirty little secret from him which is not so obscure as everyone already knows about it and now he's hiding it from, him---the first person who helped him to form this lovely outcome of his little crush
"His consort!?" Jimin says loudly, not believing his ears, he wanted to smother himself, dig the ground, and lay in it before hearing something so disgustingly absurd, Felix shot a glare at him to keep his voice low, Jimin inhales a deep breath for the umpteenth time before he speaks again
"Yes, we walked together only because I'm his bodyguard! what are you talking about Lix?" The frustration with Jimin was high to the point he was almost begging Felix to stop repeating this odious thing again and again
