Daniel's POV
"Cinderace pyro ball!!" I commanded.
"Cinder!" Cinderace cried as it kicked a flaming ball at our opponent, which scored a direct hit and caused an explosion.

"Race!" Cinderace said as it landed back in front of me.
"And Cinderace lands a powerful pyro ball!" The announcer said. "The title of Champion of Silicro is just within his reach!"
"Daniel! Daniel! Daniel!" The crowd cheered.

"Daniel!" Vix yelled as I jolted awake.
"Wha..?" I said still pretty sleepy.
"Get up bro." He said. "All of us are waiting on you downstairs."
"5 more minutes.." I said laying back down and turning my back to him.
"Damn." He spoke. "Alright. Don't forget to say hi to my new Pokémon when we get back."
"Wait what?!" I said sitting right back up.
"We're catching Pokémon today." Vix said facepalming. "We discussed it at the diner yesterday remember?"
I was bubbling with excitement.
"LET'S GOOOO!!" I yelled.
"Scorbuh?!" Scorbunny said as it leaped out of bed with a startled expression.
"Meet us downstairs when you're done getting ready." Vix told me.
"Scor?" Scorbunny said with confusion.
I knelt down to his eye level.
"We're catching a Pokémon today bro!" I spoke. "A new friend!"
"Scor..!" Scorbunny's eyes shined with excitement. "Scorbuh!!!!"
It started doing backflips with a hyped expression.
"Let's get ready." I said.

I ran downstairs and saw everyone waiting for me.
"Morning man." Declan said dapping me up.
"Morning." I replied.
"What took you so long?" Braeden asked.
"He overslept because he forgot what we planned yesterday." Said Vix.
"How do you forget something as important as catching Pokémon?" Braeden asked.
"Sorry." I replied. "But at least I'm here. I'm gonna go grab breakfast real quick and we can head out."
"Alright." Vix spoke. "Don't take too long."
"I won't." I said as I walked into Alcremie's Delight.
I walked over to the counter but there was a girl in front of me.
