Entering the Battle Hall! Vix vs Malech!

Daniel's POV

After I finished healing Scorbunny and Elekid, I decided to walk Kayla to her first class.

"So where are you headed?" I asked.

"Math." She sighed. "First lesson I have in this academy just HAD to be the one I hate most."

"Can't say the same for me." I said. "I got Battle and Strategy."

"That sounds fun!" She said. "You chose the battle program?"

"Yep." I said. "Gotta become Champion of Silicro somehow. What did you pick?"

"The Contest program." She replied. "I used to watch them all the time with my sister before.."

She stopped herself and a sad expression appeared on her face. She looked like she was about to cry.

"Hey." I said. "You ok?"

"Yeah I'm fine!" She smiled. "Don't worry about it."

It was obvious that she wasn't, but I didn't wanna press her about it.

"If you say so." I said.

"So anyway." Kayla said. "I was thinking if you wanted to hang out sometime. I have a really good movie we can watch."

She said this with a blush on her face and I didn't know why but decided not to question it.

"Sure I'm down." I smiled.

"Perfect!" She said.

We stopped outside her class.

"See you then!" She smiled as she gave me a big hug.

I couldn't help but blush as I hugged her back.

"See you." I replied.

She gave me one last smile before walking towards her class.

I took my phone and the time read 9:20.

Shit! I'm late!

I took off running to my class.

Kayla's POV

I chuckled to myself as I saw Daniel sprinting towards his class. Such an idiot but so sweet.

I was oddly really excited to hangout with Daniel. But why? It couldn't be that..

I sighed. If she were here, she'd know exactly what to do.

I miss you so much Hailey..

Daniel's POV

I stepped into the lecture hall, panting with exhaustion from running.

I saw Vix, Declan and Braeden sitting in the same row.

"You're late.." A man said with depression in his voice.. He had eye bags under his eyes and a nose ring.

"My bad sir." I said. "I was healing my-"

He put his hand up, signalling for me to stop talking.

"Don't really care for a story.." He said. "Just take your seat and be quiet.."

I nodded and took my seat next to Vix and dapped him up.

"Hey guys." I said.

"Yo." Braeden said. "You feeling any better?"

"I'm alright now." I said. "Don't worry."

"What took you so long?" Declan asked.

"Was just healing up Scorbunny and Elekid." I lied.
