A Dance With Shadows

Introduction

A/N:

Hello! This is one of the first stories I will release here, so please bear with me as I work through everything. As of right now, A Dance With Shadows is unfinished and I'm not sure when it will be finished yet. This work-in-progress is something I've been considering for a long time now, so any small grammatical or spelling errors are completely my fault, and I apologize in advance (please feel free to correct me on this, as well). 

I would like to ask, once again, that you please bear with me throughout my latest venture (I'll probably be asking this multiple times throughout this process). 

Update Schedule

I know most people probably don't care about a posting schedule, however, I do understand those who want a consistent schedule when it comes to longer stories, such as this one. 

So, for the most part, I'm not sure how consistent my schedule will be. But, I will ensure I do my best to upload a chapter at least once a week. With this, I want to upload every Wednesday or Saturday, before midnight. This will exclude holidays, where I will post either the day before or the day after. 
        ****Being in America, I will be celebrating certain holidays such as the Fourth of July, Cinco de Mayo, etc. However, some holidays I will be updating on, as I don't partake in celebrations enough to influence my writing abilities (President's Day, Tax Day, etc.)

Characters

I have many characters that I plan to implement throughout A Dance With Shadows, however, the main characters are as follows: 

Keira Elbridge 

Everett Walters 

Maddox Alva

Saskia Alva 

Before getting too in-depth into the story, I would like to establish these facts as true: 
 - Saskia and Maddox are siblings and have three more siblings. 
 - Everett has four brothers; he is the second youngest. 
 - Keira has two brothers and one sister; she is the youngest. 
 - Each family of one of the main characters is involved with at least one clan; The Alva, The Walters Pack, and The Elbridge Clan -- all of these will be referenced many times throughout the story; smaller clans, will likely only be referred to as their names and will be adequately referenced for easy reading

***Anything written in another language may be inaccurate, broken, or improper -- I use Google Translate for most of these sections, however, I do my best to ensure translations are proper. Anything written in another language will have the intended translations beside it. 

Blurb

After being born into an unforgiving family, Keira Elbridge is just a girl trying to get through life after graduating high school. When her father demands her future, she is forced to question everything she has ever been taught about her family. But, after she meets Everett Walters, she begins to wonder how much control she has over her small life. Will Keira be able to make the right decision? Or will her decisions lead her to further heartbreak?
