The white tubby laid on the mattress in his room watching the sun creeping in from the window; he hadn't slept. He didn't really need to as he body was rested for now. He adjusted as he knows having any rest was being limited due to morning soon arriving and rest becoming soon unavailable as everyone in the base would have to work in the hellscape that's is the current world. He laid their listening to the wind brush against the glass window. He closed his eyes as his breath broke through his lips; before he sat up and fixed his hair; pulling it out of his face for a moment before grabbing a box of tissues; and taking his eye patch; cleaning up the once covered eye. Tossing the crimson tissues in the trash before he opened his other to look at his reflection. He eyes turned to a soft glare at himself. He put his eyepatch back on and fixed his hair to how he usually has it.

He sat down again and closed his eyes listening to his surroundings; movement could be heard outside of the room after awhile. He opened his eyes again and looked at the door before he got up and exited the room. He walked back to the kitchen area and looked at the pink tubby who was happily humming to herself.

The Guardian walked over to her, she was mixing together some eggs presumably to make scrambled eggs. He sighed lightly and pulled her wavey hair back taking the hair tie from her braid to put her hair in a low bun. "Put your hair back while cooking Anne." The Guardian lightly spoke as Anne looked at him and softly laughed. "Whoops, sorry-" She smiled at the Guardian who lightly ruffled her head with a smile. The two lightly spoke as the bubblegum colored tubby was happy to be talking to the other it's been a long time since they could.

Walten leaned against the wall watching Anne mix together the eggs in the bowl. "So how was the job you had before all of this W? I know you where set to work was in the main lands." Anne asked curiosity lingering in her tone. "It was fine; nothing impressive or even that much just be isolated and watch over the land basically...nothing special." The Guardian softly spoke as Anne listened and softly nodded as he spoke.

The two just simply spoke as Anne poured the egg mixture into a pan to let it cook as she used a spatula to mix too evenly cook. "Sooo; what was the group you watched over like? If that's not too sensitive of a topic since everything...well started there-" Anne at first confidently asked but her tone shifted to nervousness. The Guardian looked at her and lightly smiled. "Well they were all sweet and cheerful for the most part- some got along better then others- but all in the end...didn't deserve their fates..." Anne looked at him and narrowed her ears back before she moved to turn the stove off. "Do you want any?" Anne softly asked. "No thank you; I'm not hungry thank you though-" the other responded before he went over to the coffee machine to make coffee. "Im used to only having coffee in the morning." Anne nodded in response "kinda similar but for lunch- we just sometimes forget it's a thing-" She said as she grabbed two plates and forks; as she evenly distributed the eggs she made on them.

The guardun watch her from the corner of his eye. "I'll assume your about to depart." The girl looked at the other. "Yeah I have to deliver breakfast; see if we have any game plan at the moment since its still radio silence from everyone who went to the Fortress." He gave her a nod and grabbed his coffee cup; and took a drink from it. "I won't hold you up any longer then Annabell." He gave her a soft smile; she smiled back. "I'll talk to you later then Walten." she said before she ran off with the plates. Leaving the guardian alone; he signed and walked out of the room thinking of what he should do since the everyone there is busy doing something; not like he wanted to socialize.
