Chap 5: A whole new world

"So you're telling me those plants and our zombies went inside the portal?" Said Zomboss

"Yes sir we have to-"

"YOU IDIOT!!!","you only have one job and can't do it right".

"Sir, can we talk about our friends whos stuck in the timeline?"

Zomboss turn his back against Brainstorm

"I DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEM","now go away, i will find if there is another portal lying there"

Brainstorm slowly walk to the door

"Yes sir..."

Outside the room, the zombies heroes waiting for Brainstorm . They all waiting and wonder how to get their friend back.

"So what did he said?" Said Impfinity

"He...he doesn't care about the missing heroes"

"Doesn't care? But he's our boss" Said Smash

"I'm suprised too ,Smash" , "guess we will have to deal with this"

After a bit of talking , Green Shadow decides to say they were busy doing something and will catch them later.

"Yea so we have to do something, see u at the later!" Awkwardly laugh

"I guess we will see you too then"

After the talk, Green and SuperBrain took a walk, they keep walking and discussing how they going to find their friends and get home.

"Alright i can see a town there, we will ask for help" Said Green

"Ask for help? What are we going to say?","do you know where the portal is?"  Said Superbrain

"..."

"You plants always think positive,  which is dumb, never go for a plan or something"

Green stopped walking and look at Superbrain , she pointed at him

"HEY! what do you know about plants,  all you know is munching brains"

Superbrain crossed his arm and roll his eyes

"yes yes, whatever you say queen"

Meanwhile a couple of zombies were walking in the forest, they were picking a spot for their picnic.

"Honey, isn't it beautiful today?" The wife said to the husband

The zombie husband smiled, but not for long he was shocked at what he saw. As the wife sees her husband, she asked

"Whats wrong hun?"

"Can you... Can you come here for a second?" Said the husband

She come closer to the husband, both was shocked at what they are seeing. They saw a flower, a sunflower and a disco zombie lying on the ground, they both are damaged.

"Hun, quick get the car, they need help"

As the husband rush to the car, the wife tries to wake Solar Flare and Electric Boogaloo, but they both arent waking.They carried them into the car, drove them home, while on their way the wife asked

"What did they even do to end up like that?"

"I dont know, probably they were partying at night and got drunk"Said the husband

"But look at the young lady shirt, looks like one of those shirt when plants used to wear in the Plants and Zombies war"

"Im not sure but glad the war is over"

After a short conversation, they got back home. They put Solar Flare and Electric Boogaloo on the same bed , heal their damaged part, they treated Solar Flare like a normal zombie, they don't hate her.

"Lets just let them rest, i will call our son back home"

"Don't call him, let him have fun on the town, besides i used to be a doctor so they should be fine"

"You maybe right"

Green and Superbrain made it to the town, they both were suprised to see plants lives with zombies peacefully.

"They aren't fighting..." said Green

"Only if our timeline were this peaceful, it would be wonderful" Said Superbrain

Superbrain's tummy started groaning, he was hungry. As he look at the currency in this timeline,  it was different. He had no choice to steal from a man behind him.

"What are you doing?!" Said Green

"Im hungry,im not dying here"

"Are you insane? You going to get both of us in trouble"

As the man turn around, he saw what Superbrain about to do, he yells " THIEF!"

Everyone surrounded them, the police was there.

"See? Now we are done" said Green

"Uh oh"

"1 2 3 START!","Did it work?" Said Dave

"Nope" Said Beta

"Aughh, it has been thousands of attempts and the portal won't work","How are we going to get them back" Said Dave

"So did you get anything from the zombies?" Said Captain Combustible

"Yes, they said they have to handle this by themselves" Said Nightcap

Spudow laughs " Ha! I knew that guy is a bad leader, at least we have help from the zombies side"

"I don't know should we trust them, i never trust those zombies" Said Citron

"We don't  have other any other way if we want to get our friends back" Said Wallknight
