IT WASN'T THAT SHE was scared, Ae-ra just wanted to be careful. She knew disabling comments would delay they hate from pouring in and she'd liked to keep her peace for now.
She didn't understand why everyone thought she was dating Max. She hasn't even met the guy more than once and even then it was for less than five minutes.
"People just wanna be negative." Her Grandmother spoke, sensing her grand-daughters discomfort"Put that chin up and move ahead. They will loose interest and move onto their next victim soon enough."
"Us Kang women don't let petty bastards get the best of us." The sound of her Granny cussing nearly made her spit her drink out her mouth. "Granny!"

IT TOOK ALOT OF self encouragement before Max sent that DM. Why does getting to know people have to be so terrifying! Max wasn't scared. Verstappens aren't scared. "I wanna crawl into a hole and never come out." Okay Max was a tiny abit scared, but who could blame him!
Everyone had their eyes on his last relationship constantly. If he didn't like a post fast enough? They broke up in the minds of the media. He also knew (from the DMs that Daniel sent on his behalf) that Ae-ra's fans (some of them) can also be abit....odd.
But thankfully, before Max could spiral further, Ae-ra sent a reply back.
