08- He knows

Adeline sat on her chambers as she heard a knock at the door as she saw Severus and rolled her eyes as she looked to him

"And how can I help you it's hardly seven in the morning or are you just that excited to see me" she asked as he looked to her and rolled her eyes

"Your not funny Adeline" he said as she smirked

"Really as I think I'm hilarious I'm gong for a shower. What do you want?" She asked as he raised an eyebrow at her

"Is that an invitation" he asked as he looked to her as she scoffed

"Oh you wish. Just because I'm the best sex of your life doesn't mean a thing." She said as he looked to her

"I don't recall you complaining if I recall correctly there was a lot of screaming my name to be exact" he said as she looked to him and rolled her eyes

"Think about it or is it your favourite memory to look over in the pensieve" she said as he looked to her

"I need to talk to you over Sophie" he said as she looked to him and sighed

"Your obsession with my daughter is creepy have you got a thing for teenage girls Severus" Adeline asked

"Excuse me?" He asked

"I'm winding you up chill. Look I told you that you don't need to worry Sophie is my daughter and Remus is her father that all you need to know"

"How come he didn't mention her" he asked

"Well the two of you aren't best buds. Let this go Severus I mean it" she said as he looked to her

"I'm no stupid Adeline" he said as they stood starring at each other

"I never said that you were"

Adeline stood in the great hall and looked to see Sophie walk in and frowned as she walked over to her. She knew that Sophie wasn't herself and she knew that something had happened

"Sophie come here" Adeline said as Sophie walked over to her mother and smiled as she looked to her

"What's up" Sophie asked as Adeline looked to her and rolled her eyes

"You tell me do you want to tell me where and how you got those marks on your neck?" Adeline asked as Sophie looked to her and frowned

"It's nothing mum" Sophie said as Adeline looked to him and rolled her eyes as she looked to him

"You do realise who you are talking to. The woman who gave you life went through a traumatic birth to bring you into the world. So don't lie to me Sophie. You may be fourteen bit it doesn't mean I won't punish you still" Adeline asked as Sophie glanced as Ron Weasley walked in

"You don't have a word. If he did it nod" Adeline said as Sophie nodded

"Leave it with me. Okay. Go and get breakfast okay" Adeline said. She glanced over to her nephew as he sat with his best friends and glared at the ginger boy. She knew they he had put his hands on her daughter and she wanted to milk him for it

She knew that she couldn't but she knew that she certainly could punish him and she was going to enjoy it

Adeline walked down the hall as she saw Harry, Ron and Hermione "Ron Weasley a word" she said as he paled

"You two can go. Come with me" Adeline said as she lead him to her classroom

"I'm going to ask you this once and once only and don't even lie to me over this. Did you put your hands on my daughter neck?" She asked as he whimpered

"Speak then Weasley" she said

"I did. She deserved it" he said as she nodded

"Detention until Christmas I think" she said as he muttered. Adeline marched over to him and grabbed him and pinned him against the wall and glared at him

"You may be my nephews best friend but Sophie is my world and if you touch her again I will do more then crucio you. Do you understand. You do not what to mess with me and what I will do for my daughter. Leave now before I choke you myself" Adeline said as he ran out of the room terrified

Adeline stood in her classroom and looked to see Severus as he walked in and sighed

"Please don't. Don't even start. I am not in the mood" she said

"Why is scarring fourth years not enough for you" he asked with a smirk as she smiled

"Don't. Don't smirk at me like that Severus. I know what I did but she's my daughter. I will do anything to protect her" she said as he looked to her and smiled slightly as he walked over to her

"I get it I do. She's getting close to Draco malfoy you want to watch her he'll turn out like his father" Severus said

"No he's a good kid he's sweet and he's been there for Sophie. It's just what she needs a friend like him" Adeline said as Severus smiled. He brushed a strand of hair out of her face and looked to her and smiled

"You really still manage to surprise me you do know that don't you" he said as the two of them held a look

"A girl has to keep you on your feet" she said as he looked to her and smiled. Severus knew that there was something there with Adeline. But he also knew when it came to Sophie he was not stupid

Severus snape stood in his office. He was searching from files. He knew he had the power as head of Slytherin house to do so. He came across Sophie potter file and pulled it out. He looked to see her birth certificate the father was sealed on it and he knew Adeline had done that and how she had something to hide

He looked to her date of birth; 15th August 1981. He did the maths and he knew. He knew he had slept with Adeline in the October before. He knew that she was his daughter and he just had to prove it
