Alia's POV
Before I knew it, we had arrived at my new house

It was just as big as mine

My husband had been on his phone the WHOLE ride

The driver came to my side of the car and opened the door and I stepped out

My husband was waiting for me by the entrance
Wow he put the phone away!

He opened the door and we walked into the living room and his whole family was there

His mom came up to me and hugged me

I was so surprised but hugged her back

"i know you both must be so tired so why don't u go to ur room and rest" Hamzas mom said

" I'll bring Alia to her room" Hamzas sister said

She took my hand and led me to a room. She sat me on the bed and said goodnight and left

I sat there and waited for my husband. I thought abt how my life was now so changed

I suddenly heard the door open and he walked inside

My scarf was over my face so i couldn't see him but i heard him stop next to me by the bed

" I wanna make something very clear. We are just married on paper. This is not real it is just for our families businesses. I am not in love with h and never will be and pls don't expect anything from this marriage because I won't be able to give it to you" Hamza said

I then heard him go to the bathroom and close the door.

I was too stunned to speak. Ofcourse I knew this marriage wasn't "real" but he didn't have to be so harsh abt it.

After he came out of the bathroom I went and changed out of my clothes and into a pair of pajamas. It felt so good to get out of that heavy dress

I then went to the dresser and took off all my makeup and jewelry and took out my hair

During all this, my husband was on his laptop.

I was all done getting ready for bed when i realized something

There was only one bed and no way was I sleeping in it with him especially after what he said

I was too tired to argue with him, so I found a blanket and pillow from the closet and laid down on the couch

I could feel him staring at me while I did this

Within 5 minutes of laying down, I was sound asleep
