"Anaya, wake up, or you'll be late for school."

"Yes, Chichi. Anya is awake now. I'm coming."

Anya got ready; she brushed her teeth, put on her uniform, and went to the kitchen. Today, Mama cooked, but Chichi didn't say anything. I could understand because of their messy thoughts. But the food was great; Mama has improved so much.

"Haha, the food was good, Anya liked it," she said to her mother in a childish voice. She loved her mother, and their relationship had improved so much.

"Ha, Anya, san, arigato. This is my new dish. I'm glad that you like it."

"Okay, I will get my bag now for school."

"Hey, Bound, let me check what's going to happen today."

"Haaa, Syon boy, I can see Syon boy. What happened to his hand? But why can't I see Bound? Show me." But he just stopped telecasting.

"Alright then, today's mission is saving Syon boy from getting injured so we can be friends," she said with her signature smile. While Loid would be like, "Why are you smiling? Just get ready, or you will be late."

"Yes, Chichi."

Anya arrived at school, pondering the cause of the injury she had seen earlier. As she headed towards her classroom, she noticed a crowd gathering on the grounds. Curious, she made her way over and saw that it was a baseball match.

Baseball had become quite popular in their school, and the current player on the field was Jonathan Jacob, the son of John Jacob, a prominent and wealthy businessman in the country. His presence drew a large crowd.

Suddenly, Becky appeared from behind. "Anya-chan!" she called out.

"Becky, you startled me," Anya exclaimed. "So, Anya, did you come up with any ideas on how to make Damian your boyfriend?"

"Wait, Becky! I never said I wanted to fall in love. I just said I wanted to be friends with Syon boy. Becky, you watch too much romantic stuff."

"It's alright, Anya-chan. I can understand. You behaviour is like baby .

Becky!

"Hey, hey, look out!" a boy warned them.

As Becky and I froze in position, I felt a touch on my cheek. It was rough and manly. As I looked to see whose hand it was, I saw Syon boy holding a ball just near my face. Jonathan came running and immediately apologized. He had hit the ball so hard, and it was coming in our direction. Jonathan held my hand as he apologized. It didn't feel perverse; it was gentlemanly behavior.

As I glanced over at Damian, I noticed his injured hand.

"Syon boy, your hand," I said, withdrawing my hand from Jonathan and going towards Damian. "Show me your hand."

"It's okay, forget it. I'm alright," Damian replied.

"No, you're not. Syon, just go to the infirmary to get a bandage for your hand."

Since childhood, I had heard so many thoughts from Syon boy. He kept things to himself and suffered so much. I had to help. That's what spies do: they help people.

As we arrived at the nurse's office, the nurse checked Damian's hand. "It's not that serious, just some damage. We need to bandage it," she said.

Suddenly, a boy came running towards the nurse, clutching his stomach. "Nurse, nurse, my stomach hurts. Please check me," he pleaded.

"Alright, just wait a minute, I'll be there," the nurse replied.

Turning to me, the nurse asked, "Miss, what's your name?"

"Anya Forger," I replied.

"Alright, Miss Forger, can you bandage? I need to check that boy," the nurse requested.

At first, I hesitated, but then I nodded. "Yes, I will," I said, thinking it might be good for plan B.

As I took the bandage, the nurse left the compartment.

"Syon boy, give me your hand," I instructed Damian.

"It's okay, I can do it by myself," Damian insisted.

"Syon boy, didn't you hear what the nurse said? I'll do the job, not you. So just give me your hand," I replied firmly.

Damian hesitated at first, but then he extended his hand as I applied sanitizer. He didn't make a sound, but I noticed his eyes fixed on me as I worked. His gaze lingered on my eyes and hair, and I felt a slight blush creep onto his face. It quickly faded as I finished bandaging his hand and said, "All done, Syon boy. I did my job," with a signature smirk.

Damian nodded. "Alright, then. Let's go to the classroom."

"It's all done. Alright, then lets go to the class. Damian said plainly

Damian had matured; he wasn't calling me "shorty" anymore. He was a gentleman now.

As we walked, Damian thought to himself, "Why did I do that? It was the second time, the doucheball, and now this. I don't know; it happens without even thinking. I don't have any clue."

"Whatever. I don't have any emotions towards this commer," he muttered.

Anya overheard everything and called out to Damian.

"Hey, Damian," she said. His eyes met hers without any emotions, but there was a slight smile in his eyes. This was the first time he had heard his name from her mouth.

"Thanks for saving me. I owe you one."

"Yeah, just be careful next time," Damian replied.

When they arrived in class, their seats were placed at a considerable distance from each other, making it impossible for Anya to pick up Damian's thoughts. Additionally, the classroom was packed, further hindering her ability to tune into his thoughts.

Meanwhile, Damian pondered his own emotions. "I don't know where my emotions went or if I ever had control over them," he mused silently. "Since childhood, I've strived to gain acknowledgment from my father, but he was always preoccupied. My family has never included me in their lives or sought to understand me. Perhaps this loneliness has caused me to become emotionally detached."

"Since childhood, I've observed her," Damian continued in his mind, referring to Anya. "She shines like a bright sunflower, and I feel an instinctual desire to protect her. That's all-nothing more, nothing less."

As Damian grappled with his thoughts, he couldn't help but wonder about Jonathan, the guy who had touched Anya. "Who is that Jonathan guy, and why did he touch her?" he pondered briefly before brushing the thought aside. "Whatever. I don't have time for that. I need to focus on studying for the upcoming exams."

"Wow, Anya, did you see how he protected you? So cool! I got so excited; it was like a scene from a romantic drama. It was so cute and beautiful," exclaimed her friend enthusiastically. "So, did he say anything to you while you were back in the nurse's office?"

Anya looked at her excited friend and replied, "He didn't say anything. He just told me to go back to class. That's all-nothing more, nothing less."

"That's okay, Anya-chan. You can become friends with him; you just have to work on that , okay?"

"Okay," Anya thought to herself. "Still, Sion boy is kind of weird. I don't understand his thoughts or him."

"Alright, class, please be silent now. We have an exciting announcement for you all," the teacher began, commanding attention from the students. "We've arranged a thrilling class trip to the lush, green mountains, where towering trees and exotic flora await.
