Snow flakes poured down so gracefully. I watched them fall and smiled. I had always thought that snowflakes were some of the most beautiful things to exist. They were 10th in my list of most beautiful things. However, when Hyunjin came into my life, snowflakes became number 11 on the list.
I smiled and let a tear fall down my cheek. There were barely any days left until Christmas. I sighed for the nth time and went back to checking on my cake. Just then, I heard a bark from outside.

Kkami!

I frantically ran outside of my house and remembered how I had let Kkami play outside earlier. He played around while I watched him. I guess I was so dazed that I went back in without him.
Once I got outside, I quickly found him and brought him into my arms. He was shivering all over. I quickly brought him back inside and warmed him up. "K-Kkami." I stuttered. Tears poured out as I hugged him tightly. He was the only one I had left besides my friends. "Kkami." I cried. Tears just kept pouring down my face. Kkami whimpered and licked my face. "I'm so sorry baby. Dad's in the hospital, so it's just you and me." I smiled as Kkami licked my tears.
After letting my tears out again, I showered and changed. Then, I walked back out to the kitchen and took out my cake. Kkami ran over to my leg and barked. "Yes baby, you will get some cake, I promise." I told him. He rubbed against my leg. "So cute." I cooed as I picked him up. I let him onto one of the chairs. "Wait here for me while I get a knife to cut the cake, ok?" I told him. He smiled, and I assumed he understood. However, I came back to find his mouth smothered with cake. "Kkami!" I giggled. He shyly looked away. "I told you to wait!" I said. He jumped off his chair and ran off. I sighed and looked back at the cake that now had a hole in the middle. "I wasn't planning to eat it anyway." I told myself. I threw the cake into the trash. "Kkami!" I called. He came running over. "I'm going to go visit dad in the hospital, ok?" I asked. Kkami tilted his head slightly. "And I'll tell uncle Ji to come over." I chuckled. Kkami excitedly nodded his head.
I smiled and went to call Jisung. I knew he would freak out since I hadn't called him in a week. "Hello? Ji?"
"I'm crying."
"What?" I confusedly asked.
"It's been one week! I thought you were dead! Don't worry, what ever you need, I'm coming over right now. Don't you dare hang up the phone!" Jisung said.
Not even 5 minutes later, he appeared at my house along with Minho. "Where's my baby!" Jisung cooed as Kkami came running over.
"Thanks Ji and Min, you two are the best." I smiled. Minho nodded his head.
"Go quickly. This idiot is too focused on Kkami." Minho chuckled.
"I am not an idiot!" Jisung whined.
I smiled at them before leaving quickly. I took my car and reached the hospital. "Fuck." I whispered under my breath. Just 5 more minutes before visiting time is over. "I'm here for Hwang Hyunjin." I panted as I quickly reached the front desk. (A/n. I don't know anything abt hospitals so sorry if anything doesn't make sense.)
The lady looked me up and down. "There's only 4 minutes until visiting time is over." She said.
I gulped. "It's still 4 minutes." I replied. She sighed before handing me a badge.
  "Quickly."
I ran as fast as I could, ignoring all the shouts from the staff. Finally, I reached his room. "H-Hyun." I whispered. He laid still on his bed, not moving a single finger. "Hyun." I cried as I held his hand. "Please wake up, please." I begged.

Just then, I felt his finger twitch.
