Dear Soul;009

Plans falling through...

The other morning I left the estate in hopes that Hyo-un would begin healing, Ryeo-ah was very upset with me and worried what to tell her master if he were to wake up and find me gone. I told her to tell him ' I left for him.'

When the jet took off I remember dreaming of Hyo-un, but he wouldn't look at me and a black void formed below my feet and started to swallow me up. When I called for him nothing came out as I watched another woman appear at his side, linking her arm with his just as I was pulled out of sight. When I woke up the plane was in flight, heading to my destination, still a few hours out.

The plan was to fly to the Gangwon Province in hopes to seek out a dragon who lives on the mountain there. I had managed to translate several pages of that Journal where I found something about another dragon living. One possibly much older than Hyo-un, and if anyone had knowledge on a dragon it would be another dragon.

I could feel my heartbeat trying to catch up when the plane entered into some major turbulence. The captain called out saying that it was an unexpected occurrence and was unsure what was happening. Suddenly the plane fell under a shadow and when I looked out the window it was a large black leg clinging to the side of the plane. I couldn't believe it, "Hyo-un, what are you doing!?"

The captain lost complete control of the plane as the massive black dragon carried the plane in through a black portal, not gonna lie I felt a little claustrophobic because of the dream a few minutes prior.

I told the crew to remain calm and that they were in no danger as the dragon set the plane down on the ground. Another portal formed inside the plane and I sent them through it before stepping outside.

My god he was beautiful, the form Hyo-un was now was that of a large black dragon looking down at me with bright lit eyes.

"When will you learn to behave when other people are around? Huh." I made my way over to him and placed my hand and cheek to his snout and could already tell he was burning up. "What on earth were you thinking, you need to be at home resting–" I started but his voice cut me off

"Why did you leave?"

"What?"

"I asked for you to stay with me, but you didn't. You left. Was it because I got angry?" He asked me, and just like that the dragon was gone and Hyo-un was now back in his human form. "I'm sorry that I got angry, I want you to know that I'm not mad anymore. I don't care that you lied, I don't care that you are not part of that family."

"Listen to me Hyo-un, there is a real possibility that with me around is only making you worse. We have to face the fact that I'm no good for you. Besides, I would have to leave anyways once we found your–" He kissed me, it was deep and aggressive and hurt. He gripped my wrist and began to squeeze.

"No!" he pulled away "I will not allow myself to lose you after everything."

I winced, his grip on my wrist was hurting and he quickly let go. "I'm sorry!"

"It's ok, I'll be fine. Look–" I began, but he cut me off.

"When I slept, I kept having nightmares, ones with you always leaving and me unable to stop you. And when I woke up you were really gone. I tore the place apart trying to find you but I couldn't. I don't want to lose you, please Minjae. Please stay by my side."

There was no winning against this stubborn dragon, was there?

"I'm tired of being stuck in the past, waiting for a ghost that may never show up. I want to be by your side, be the reason you smile and make love to you till you cry."
