@Je11eybean262. I love your comments and how quickly you respond to what I write. I know you will be kind, even though this update is only half the size of a normal update. ;) besides, who doesn't enjoy a morning filled with Luke, Gabriel and Sang???

For reference sake, I see Gabriel as the one in the dark suit and Luke as the one in the light grey suit. Katydids posted this on the FB page for Academy Birds one day and I finished it with words from the guys, like in this update. Katydids told me to write a one shot about it. I have been saving it for this moment in the story. :D

Part 204 - Saturday December 21st

Luke's POV

I knew we had an early morning planned, but we are on vacation, which means there is plenty of time for pranks and all around having fun. I set my alarm to zap me awake at 5 am. And boy, was I awake after that zap.

I woke decided to wake up Cupcake first. If she won't go in on my plan, there is no need to wake Gabe up early. I slithered into Nathan's room, fully in stealth mode. Victor and Nathan were curled up close to Sugar. Nathan was spooning Sang, and she was spooning Victor. This would be harder than I thought.

I found an extra pillow in the closet, then ran my finger along the length of Sang's bare foot. She twitched but didn't stir. She must be tired! I tried again, but this time I ran my finger along the length of her foot, from toe to heel, and continued up her calf. By he time I got to her knee, she was looking at me. The only motion was her lifting her head.

I held my finger over her lips in a "shhhh" motion. She nodded, then moved Nathan's arm to climb out of the bed. I placed the pillow where Sang had just been and watched Nathan wrap his arm around the pillow and pull it in tight. Not getting the feel of Sang from the pillow, he subconsciously scoot forward, just as Victor pressed back, as if looking for Sang himself. I had to bite my hand to keep from laughing as those two settled back into sleep with Nathan spooning Victor, his arm over Victor's waist, and Victor holding Nathan's hand.

I pulled my phone out and took a quick picture. That was definitely a Kodak moment! As for this Holiday break, I expect a lot of Kodak moments. Sang grabbed my arm and rolled her eyes at me. I quietly closed their door as I made my way into the living room.

Gabe was sleeping on the couch. I slapped his leg with the back of my hand and he startled awake. "Fuc-" he began and I clamped my hand over his mouth to keep him from waking up the others.

"Shhh, time to begin, 'Operation Holiday Pranks' and other fun stuff."

Gabe smiled with a wicked gleam in his eyes. A look I knew well! I practically invented that look. I motioned for them to join me outside on the patio.

"So, here is my plan for this good morning..."

After we had planned and practiced our part quietly three times, we went back inside. It was cold outside and that would be all the prep time we would get. Gabe plugged his cell phone into Nathan's stereo system but didn't turn it up really loud. We want to be the ones to wake them up, not the music coming from the speakers.

Gabe pushed play and our morning show began. We sang and danced along with the song "Good Mornin' To You" from the musical "Singing In the Rain".

We sang in the living room at first. Kota was sleeping out there too and groaned as he pushed himself off the ground to see. "What in the world?" He found his glasses from the nearest end table and put them on. Our singing and dancing continued around the living room and Kota just sat there and laughed.

We continued with our morning show down the hall and entered Nathan's bedroom at the part of the song where they are saying "Good Morning" in all the different languages. As we were singing and leaving their room, Victor called out, "Ohayō". Cupcake giggled a little but we were back out in the living room. Nathan and Victor came out of the room behind us and watched with smiles on their faces.

At the end, we performed the over turning the couch move, then we fell down on the cushions and laughed. Gabe sat forward and said, "fuck! We can't have fun like this!"

I sat forward, looking over Sugar's head at him and asked, "Why?"

"North." Gabe states flatly.

"North!" Forever and I say at the same time, then sigh, falling in defeat against the couch.

As if on cue, "WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT? ESPECIALLY AT THIS UNGODLY HOUR!!!" Can you guess who that was? I'll give you three guess and the first two don't count.

Everyone but North and Silas were laughing as we had danced and sang all through the house, except for in the room North and Silas were sleeping in. They had just stepped out of Nathan's dad's room when we were done with our morning prank.

"Kaliméra." Silas smiled at us.

"Ki esy? Eínai poly norís gia aftá ta skatá!" (You too? It is too early for this shit!). North grumbled, then turned for the kitchen. "Coffee will be ready in a few minutes. And Sang Baby... I like kisses better than singing first thing in the morning." That began a new round of laughter.

Gabriel handed out the clothes each of us were to wear this morning. Everyone got something except Victor. I raised my eyebrow in question. "He needs to be headed to his concert before we will be done. Not that he can't help until he needs to leave, I just didn't want to wear you out."

"Thanks Gabe. I'll help until I need to leave. But first, I'll go get some coffee. As much as Princess' morning performance was cute, I still need caffeine to wake me up fully." Victor was always thinking about the family, even when he was overworked. He deserves more of a break than he will get, with his performance schedule.

Speaking of performances, I looked around me and didn't see Forever anywhere. "Where did Cupcake go?" I questioned.

"She went to help make breakfast." Nathan answered.

"Since she isn't here, is everything ready and set up for tonight?" I have been working at the diner a lot and haven't had time to help with the set up for our family concert and after party.

"Everything is arranged and ready. I hope this is a memorable Christmas for Ten."

"Of course it will be!" Silas assured, "Aggele is spending it with all of us!" He had a crazy goofy smile on his face. We all laughed as we realized tonight would not just be memorable, it would be epic!

"Did everyone finish 'making the presents?'" Nathan asked with a sneer on his face. I guess he isn't 100% happy about making gifts instead of buying gifts. I'm sure he did just fine with his gift idea. Besides, Sugar isn't one to be ungrateful. We have nothing to worry about.
