Part 205 - Saturday December 21st

Nathan's POV

After breakfast, we all went and put on the costumes Gabe had given each of us. It was black pants, a white shirt and black bow tie with a white long apron that wrapped around our waist. Or I thought we were all getting dressed in the same thing, until I looked at North and Silas. They were both wearing a completely white outfit with huge white cook hats on their heads.

"Why are you two in something different?"

"Those two would literally scare the shit out of little kids. They are dressed as the cooks, not the servers." Gabe answers with a flip of his hands.

"What is Peanut dressed up like?"

"Why don't you go see." Gabe laughed as we all hurried out of my room. Peanut was waiting in the living room wearing a pink long sleeved nightgown with blue polka dots. It went down to her ankles, and all the way up to her neck. He hair was in two braids and she was the cutest Peanut ever. It didn't matter she was completely covered up, you could still imagine just how sexy she was under it all. And in my fantasy she is wearing some red lacy undergarments under that costume.

Victor stepped out of my bathroom, he was wearing a pair of gold silky pajamas and a blue terry cloth bathrobe over the top and a pair of slippers. He looked just like the boy on the movie. That's when I realized, Peanut looks just like the girl on the movie too. I started laughing out loud.

"Do I look funny?" Victor was looking down at himself.

"No, I just realized that you and Peanut look like the kids from the movie and the rest of us look like the waiters and cooks."

"Oy, what did you fuckers think I was going to dress you up like? Hello, Polar Express Day! Seems self explanatory to me." Gabe looked irritated at my slow comprehension. "Shit, it's like working with children."

Kota saved us from a Gabe meltdown. "We all fit the bill exactly. Well done Gabe. Time to go everyone."

We hurried down the road to the diner. Luke opened up and we got started setting out all the foods. They are going to be making pancakes and there are all kinds of kid approved toppings. Marshmallows, chocolate chips, crushed candy cane pieces, chopped bananas, chopped strawberries, whipped cream, chopped nuts, and all kinds of flavored syrups.

Uncle came in the diner, grunted at us and went to the kitchen. Silas and North carried out a 5 gallon drink dispenser. "What is that for?" I asked.

Luke sang out, "here, we only have one rule, never ever let it cool! Hot, hot, hot, hot chocolate!"

"It's going to be full of hot chocolate so we can fill drinks really quickly. No need to have unruly hordes of children running amuck." North grumbled.

"And this is why you are staying far away from the precious little angles." Silas teased.

"Then why are you destined to the same fate as me? All high and mighty?" North demanded of Silas.

"My size seems to be a possible problem for scaring little kids." Silas shrugged but was looking down at his feet.

Peanut went to him, "Silas, you are a giant teddy bear. MY giant, cuddly teddy bear. You will not scare any kids. Especially if you are smiling." Then Peanut walked over to North, she placed her hand on his chest. "But you, Mr. Grumpy, need to find your happy place. This is for little kids today." She went up on her tip toes and North bent down to meet her in the middle. She kissed him and it was like she flipped a switch on North. He was actually smiling. I didn't know the guy had dimples.
