"Mingi oppa?"
He looked at you worriedly

"Are you okay?"
"Y-yes I am, what are you doing here?"
"I followed you"
"What were you doing following- never mind, you shouldn't be here oppa"
You said as you felt multiple footsteps approaching you

"Well well well, the pothead has a boyfriend"
You could see Mingi's confused face when he heard the word pothead, but he understood, you put your arm before him, protecting him

"He's leaving, don't you dare touch him"
The dealer chuckled

"Come on, take her"
"No, you won't take her anywhere"
Mingi said, coming in front of you

"Oppa, don't get involved and leave while you can"
You got totally ignored

"You know what your little girlfriend has done right?"
You looked at Mingi, his face was filled with rage, knowing these were the men who were about to sell you to god knows where

"She has been taking pot from me, and not paying me for a while now, I told her this would happen if she couldn't pay this time, and here she is, shamelessly taking more pot without even paying me for the last ones"
"You told me-"
"Beat them both up, I don't care now"
He said as his guys came up to you and Mingi, separating you from each other, Mingi got the first hit, a punch in the stomach, whereas you got hit in the face, they beat you both until Mingi fell down

"Oppa!"
You said as your arms were still in grip of the guys, you managed to release yourself and fall down towards Mingi

"Oppa, wake up! Please!"
You said slapping his face, to wake him up, they were about to beat him more but you shielded him and took the hits, he finally opened his eyes, looking at you protecting him, his eyes widened

"I'll pay you, stop it!"
Mingi shouted and they stopped, you finally fell on top of him, as soon as they stopped hitting, he hugged you and patted your head, you looked up at him and said

"No oppa, you don't have to do that"
"And let them take you, never"
He said as he helped you and himself stand up

"Okay mister, how are you supposed to pay me back then?"
The dealer asked, looking at you two standing up after he signalled his men to stop

"Do you take online transfer?"
The dealer chuckled

"Who do you think I am?"
You looked at him being clueless about the fact that that guy is a dealer and can't take online transfers for pot; not gonna lie, you found it cute

"Oppa, he only takes cash"
He heard you whisper from behind

"How much money?"
"200,000 won"
"What?"
You looked at his surprise face when he heard he number

"Oppa, you don't have to do this, I can deal with them"
"You clearly can't, let me do this"
He said

"Let us go get the cash from the ATM"
"I don't think so, she'll stay with us until you bring the cash"
He hesitated before letting go of your hand, you squeezed his hand, signalling that's its fine, he finally let go, as you walked away from him, his eyes fixed on you, he finally turned around and walked away, you started counting your fingers, nervous taking over you, one guy was behind you, making sure you don't run away, and the others were back to doing whatever they were doing

- Few minutes later

Mingi came back, you didn't notice him because you were looking down at the floor and too much into your thoughts, he came up to you and said

"Here's the money, now let her go"
"Oh wow, you really did come back with the money, you must really love her, that's cute"
You were still looking down, about to burst into tears, not focusing on the conversation

"Y/n, let's go"
He took your hand and you both walked away; once you both were far away from them, you released your hand from his grip

"I told you to not get involved"
"I should be the one getting angry right now, not you"
He said, as you were left speechless at the sudden raise of volume in his voice

"Are you seriously doing drugs?"
"You should've guessed by now"
"I want to hear it from you"
You looked down, you hated being vulnerable to people, and especially when you didn't know him that well

"Why Y/n?"
"That's none of your business"
"Y/n, it is my business, you're my best friend's younger sister, seeing you like this hurts"
"Why were you following me?"
"Don't try to change the topic, what happened to you in London? You were so bright and outgoing, and couldn't stay still for even a second, but the light in your eyes is gone"
You were still looking down, when tears started falling one by one, leaving your eyes, Mingi hugged you tightly, you quickly hugged him back and let your tears fall, feeling comfortable in his embrace, a feeling you didn't get to experience for a while now

"It's all my fault oppa, I shouldn't have left him alone, he was suffering and I couldn't even be there, it's all my fault"
His heart broke, hearing you cry, holding back his tears, trying to be strong for you

"I'm here for you, whatever it is Y/n"
"I just wanted to run away from everything, I couldn't bear it, I was afraid the guilt would take over me and I might end killing myself"
"You will not do that, you have to keep fighting, there is so much you haven't experienced, you're just 21, and I'll always be here for you"
You tightened your hug when you felt him pulling away

"Can we stay like this for few more minutes, oppa?"
He didn't say anything but just hugged you and put his chin on your head as you completely soaked his clothes with your tear
