Even the moon knows about you,
I let her silver rays shine through the glass
That I filled with water, a pink hue,
For there is a rosey stone, a spell cast.

Even the moon knows about you,
I spelt the word 'love' on the paper,
But perhaps I should have written your
Name instead, so that my wish is stronger.

Even the moon knows about you,
I look up to the black sky, the perfect globe
Glances down on me knowingly, too,
Just like my ladies, dressed in the same robe.

Even the moon knows about you,
She sees through the webs of my mind,
Though my body is fast asleep, it's true,
I know because I dream vividly, blind.

Even the moon knows about you,
My night-time fantasies consist of us,
In the same house, in the same room,
Where I forget all the waiting and the fuss.

Even the moon knows about you,
I hope she listens to my heart the way I do,
Pining, anticipating, praying for a clue,
Wishing for a future where there is me and you.
