Mina and Momo walked into the mall hand in hand. Momo had been begging Mina to join her for shopping for months. Finally the ballerina agreed despite her addiction of staying home alone.
They were checking out different stores and moving on with their purchases, when a familiar figure stepped in front of them.
"Hi Doctor Mina." Chaeyoung greeted the doctor with a charming smile.
"Oh god not again." Mina muttered as she looked at the person in front of her.
"We meet again." Chaeyoung kept smiling as she talked to Mina. "Don't you think this is probably something we should talk about?" Chaeyoung placed her hands inside her pant pockets before giving Mina a lopsided grin.
Momo observed the conversation in amusement.
"Minari, is she that girl you talked about?" Momo whispered in Mina's ear.
"I will tell you later." Mina whispered back before facing Chaeyoung.
"Miss ...what was your name again?" Mina asked unsure.
"Aww...you forgot my name? I am sad." Chaeyoung pouted a little. Mina cringed inside, but she didn't show it.
"No worries. I can introduce myself again for you Doc. Hi I am Chaeyoung." She extended her hand for Mina to shake. But Mina didn't shake it. She bowed politely before speaking.
"Miss Chaeyoung, I don't mean to be rude. But you are kind of stalking me."
"Oh...actually I am not. You see this mall is owned by my father. So I spend most of the time here looking after." Chaeyoung replied shrugging off casually. For someone outside it would feel like she was boasting about herself.
Mina raised her eyebrow. "She is rich Minari." Momo whispered in her ear excited. Mina shook her head.
"Didn't you say you were a bartender or something?" Mina asked curiously.
Chaeyoung scratched her ear slightly when she knew her lie was caught. "Well, to be honest I was so distracted by a beautiful doctor that I forgot...what I do for a living." Chaeyoung once again showed her pearly white teeth and smiled.
Mina rolled her eyes and Momo squealed. Someone was definitely routing for Chaeyoung but it wasn't the Japanese beauty Chaeyoung wanted.
Mina yanked Momo's hand and moved past Chaeyoung. But Chaeyoung wasn't going to give up.
"Hey Doc. I didn't see your girlfriend." Chaeyoung commented all of a sudden.
Mina froze in her spot. " My what...?" Mina asked confused.
"Oh Miss Chaeyoung, Mina was just ly......" Momo was about say but Mina quickly closed her mouth with her hand.
"What she meant is...my girlfriend is......" Mina was about to respond when her eyes caught a glimpse of someone in the shop across her.
"there she is..." Mina pointed her hand towards the shop and Chaeyoung turned around to look at the direction Mina pointed at.
A footware store could be seen on the opposite side. Chaeyoung looked closely and she saw a tall girl in a blue hat standing inside the store looking at different shoes.
