Regina's Pov

After speaking with the doctors and making sure that there were guards at every inch of the hospital, I left and headed home.

Taking out my phone, I called Noah and explained everything to him.

"Regina, I need you to calm down a little. We will find the traitor who took Tumaini and gave him to the Mad Sinners." Noah said

"Noah, I can't calm down. I feel like it's my fault that I didn't even know that my son, my Tumaini, was kidnapped and given to the same people who experimented and tortured me. The day I gave birth to Isabella and Tumaini, I felt something was wrong when I only saw Isabella, but shrugged it off as if it was nothing." I said while shedding tears

"Regina, it isn't your fault. You didn't know that Tumaini was born. The others and I didn't know that Tumaini was born. Someone most likely paid one of our trusted doctors or threaten them. Just come back home and we'll discuss more about it." Noah said

"But-"

Before I could say anything else, Noah cut me off.

"Regina, what's done is done. You can't keep blaming yourself. Right now, you and all of us need to take care of Tumaini and make sure he's healthy again. We don't know what he's been through with them, but we can try and make those bad memories be replaced with good ones. Just come home, so we can figure everything out, Regina." Noah said

Wiping away the tears, I said alright.

"Regina, just know that we're here for you. Roxy also returned from her mission." Noah said

A few months ago, we sent Roxy to one of the Mad Sinners bases.

As much as we were against it, Roxy kept insisting to send her and we all know how stubborn she is, so we agreed.

"Is she ok?" I asked

"Except for a few cuts and bruises from the training she was doing there, she's fine." Noah said

I sighed with relief.

"I'm heading home now. I'll be there in a few and tell the others to meet me in my office. " I said

"Ok."

After he said, I hung up and looked out the window as we past multiple buildings.

That day, only Max and Maria were there in delivery room when I was in labor.

The others and I haven't seen Max in months and the men we sent to look after Maria said she disappeared with her son a month after Max.

To think that one of them or both of them might be a traitor, but this isn't the first time this happened.

In the Mafia world, you must not trust just anyone whether they're family, friends, or business partners for years.

Max.

He knows what happened to Ji-Min and didn't talk about even before he disappeared.

He must be hiding something else as well.

Maria.

After Max went in as a spy for us when the old Japanese mafia was still established, she didn't bother to contact us about him disappearing for two years or asked us for help or even telling us that she was pregnant.

Then all of a sudden, she knows Zara and is best friends with her even after knowing about my relationship with the De Luca family.

She didn't even know if I was on good terms with all my cousins from that family.

"Where to Donna?"

"Head to the house on the south coast of the island." I said

Why is my life so difficult?

Thinking back to Tumaini and how scared he was before, I cursed under my breath.

"Head back to the hospital." I said

Hearing that, the driver did a u-turn and headed straight back to the hospital.

Tumaini's Pov

After saying goodbye to gina, I closed my eyes and tried to go to sleep.

"Get the syringe and chains."

Snapping my eyes open, I quickly sat up and looked around the room for the voice, but saw nothing.

My body starts to shake and my breath quickened.

I continued to look around the room for the voice.

"Make sure to hold the bastard still this time."

I quickly looked to my right and saw men with all white on and chains in their hands.

"No, No, No. They're not here, They're not here, They're not here, They're not here." I said while holding my head

Seeing one of the reached out to me and tried to grab me, I slapped their hand away and felled out of the bed.

"Damn brat. Look likes we have to punish you."

Seeing that the other person was trying to grab me, I kicked them in the stomach and ripped out the thing that was in my wrist.

Even though it hurts, I'm ignored it and quickly ran out of the room.

No.

Please no.

Not this place again.

I looked around to see the once colorful walls turn damp and dark.

"The little bastard's over there."

Hearing their voice again, I started to run again.

"I don't want to go back. I don't want to be an experiment again. I want to stay Gina." I whispered as started to shed tears

Gina, Gina, Gina.

Where are you?

I'm scared.

Please don't leave me.

"I don't want to be alone again." I said while crying

Not looking where I was going, I ran into someone and fell back.

Looking up at the person, I saw that it was Gina.

"Tumaini, what's wrong and why are you out of bed?" Gina asked

Not replying, I hugged her waist and started crying my eyes.

"Gina, I don't want you to leave. I'm scared. Please, don't leave me alone." I said

Feeling her wrap her arm around, I tightened my grip around her waist.

"It's ok, Tumaini. I won't leave." Gina said gently

"Do you promise?" I asked while sniffing

"I promise." Gina said

Feeling Gina picking me, I laid my head on her shoulder and closed my eyes.

"Thank you for saving me, Gina."

After saying that, I felled asleep.
